Can anyone identify this toy gun from the 1970's?

My apologies for doubling up on this thread, http://www.therpf.com/f9/new-projec...r-piercing-laser-complete-123282/#post1845761, I thought it would be worth starting a new thread focused on this specific item.

A couple of guys on the Eagle Transporter think that the receiver/scope/inner barrel (the handgrip is a camera support) of this prop are from a toy rifle from the 1970's, that may well have had a tripod & belt feed.

I htought it would be worth a last shot here at getting a positive ID before I go ahead and scratch build it :

The stock looks like the thing they used in some of Boba Fetts pre production stuff, guy was selling them on here a while back. Scope could be a small mag light.

No, that definitely is not a Kaiser shoulder stock.

It is a Kaiser shoulder stock. It says so right on the grip. I know, because the same model is sitting in my lap as I type this. Though, obviously, it's not the Fett model.

I already have the stock/grip, it's a Kaiser Schulterstativ 6005, the part I'm looking for is the main body part, I suspect the scope was part of the original toy gun.

I don't know... I would say the scope and mount were add-ons. The mount looks like a different color than the rest of the gun. The scope itself is a completely seperate piece since it is shown facing different ways in those pictures. I agree it looks like some sort of flashlight. I could be wrong, just my two cents.

Whoa - if I remember right, I had one of these as a kid! :)
Grip and stock have been cut off and the barrel extended. There was no scope, rail or mounting on mine.

Looked kinda like a foreshortened M60. I think the one in the 'spotlight' pic above is unpainted, as the one I had was a very similarly-coloured plastic - a dark bluey-black.
Had a pistol grip and solid shoulder stock - both of which had a fake woodgrain texture and were painted a caramel brown colour.

It had a black softer-plastic folding bi-pod under the barrel, (no foregrip as I can remember) and the short bullet-belt was rubbery plastic in a gold colour - it just went round & round the mechanism when the trigger was pulled.

It didn't fire anything, it was just a 'rattler' - made a rat-at-at-at sound on pulling the trigger.

I'll try to find it online, and I'll see if I have any pics of me with it.

Later,
Coz.

Hey Coz,

That matches closeley with the descriptions on the Eagle Transporter forum, if you can dig anything up, I'd be very greatful :)
