For size reference each one of those workbenches is 4” long. I figure this guy is going to end up about 12” tall

If that bench is 4" long, his hands are far more steady than mine are!

Threw a little primer on today to see how everything looks

Starting working on the feet. Once I have the body constructed I’ll put the legs together and set the position. The whole thing will have a center support but I want to try and make it as stable as possible.

Went to FanExpo in Vancouver this weekend and found a cool add-on for this display. The scale may be a bit off with my AT-ST but I think no one will notice. I’ll probably have this little guy sticking out of the top hatch.

I added some detailing today and a couple coats of epoxy resin for a more durable surface. I’m just kind of eyeballing the main details otherwise I can get bogged down with the minutiae and never get this project finished.

Started working on the main body today, I have a rough idea of how this will all be pieced together but I honestly am just figuring this out as I go along.

I added a few vac formed greeblies for detailing. I figure I am about half way on this and once the primer is on everything will pop.

I vac formed a couple of parts today and am using them to skin some foam. I am trying to keep the body as light as possible.

Just a bit more progress today but it is starting to take shape.

Btw, I can’t help but see the Galactica from this angle.
