Camtono case replica

It WAS back in stock at Line Jumper but they must have only had one because it went back to sold out when I completed my order.

So if you're still in the market, keep checking Line Jumper. Not happy about the $74.99 price tag but also tired of checking ShopDisney.

Best of luck to anyone still looking!

I got mine for $74.99 and thought that it was a great price. Not a bad markup over retail, and still less than half the price on eBay.

Plus, it’s AWESOME!

I ordered one from them the day before it was posted that they where back in stock.

One of the other items I ordered still hasn't shipped yet.

Being in New Zealand, this will be hard to come by. I will be living vicarious though all of you thanks to this thread. Keeping posting!

They have come way down on Ebay. I got mine for $75 which is likely what Disney total would be with shipping and tax, but regardless it was totally worth it. This thing is awesome.

There are numerous ones on Ebay right now for $80 ish with free shipping.

Thanks for letting us know. I found one with pretty cheap shipping to NZ considering the size, so I jumped on it. We'll see if the seller can actually ship for the posted amount or if I'll get an automatic cancellation and refund. Fingers crossed!

Some of you may have seen Norm's Tested video "LINK"

This inspired me to take mine apart, just because you can.
So here are the few pix I took as I disassembled it.

Bottom Removed (6 screws)

Doors removed (2 screws each), base removed (6 screws)
The side posts can also be removed with only 1 screw each on the tops.
Strangely 2 of them have openings for wires.

Top removed (6 screws)
You can see a lot can be removed and modified here.

The handle removes if you want to replace it with a metal one. (2 screws)
Deepening or replacing the cup may also be an option.

The switch for the light.
BTW the real one has strips of RGB LED's.
A defuser (paper?) was used in the Mando scenes, when the Pikes have one it's missing.

I need to work on upgrading the lights as well. So far, I’m considering either using a few standard 5mm yellow or orange LEDs or some white 5V led strips that I would diffuse with some yellow film. As you can tell I’m going for a warmer, softer light like the stock one but obviously brighter.

The other consideration is how to control these lights. Ideally I’d like it tied in to the existing circuit so it will turn on when it opens but I’d also like to be able to turn it off and on manually. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Not sure if the existing power pack would be sufficient or if I need to add a separate source. Clearly in the photos above, there‘s plenty of room to include electronics and power.

Maybe a small motion activator module. I’ll bet there are some LED device options that are compact with a motion sensor.
