Yeah I’m wondering if they actually changed the color of some of the items like the vest and boots for the final version, or if the color grading just really messed with the colors.
The boots always looked black to me covered in sand and clay dust

Hi all, I started the Cad Bane builders group on FB a couple weeks ago. please join there if you'd like some more info. I will post my findings here as well.
I discovered the screen used boots and the hose connectors last week. I will attach some pics for reference.
I've been doing a lot of photo scaling to try and establish a scale for the parts. The performace actor is Dorian Kingi and he's 6 foot 4 inches which is 76 inches tall. I found some great reference photos and did some scaling tests.
We have some talented group members working on various screen accurate replica parts, masks, hats, soft patterns, boots, gloves, blasters etc. I have started modelling some of the jacket greeblies and the mask connectors, fittings and other bits.
I was also asked to start drafting a rough CRL (costume guideline) for the 501st Legion, so I will post that info here as well since it's easier to update that and some people may find it easier to look in one place for the information rather than individual posts.

Cad Bane Book of Boba Fett CRL (DRAFT VERSION)
Hat
The hat is a Spanish bolero style cowboay hat in dark brown
The measures approx 15.5" across
Crown is round and does not have creases in the top
There is an approx 1/2" leather band at the base
There are assymetrical plates on each side of the hat in a metallic finish
Mask
The mask is a silicone or foam latex based mask or makeup appliance
The face features wrinkles and details that match screen reference
There are dentures for the teeth that have rows of sharp pointed teeth on the top and bottom
the eyes are red with a darker border that gradates to warm yellow at the pupil
There is a black cowl that wraps over and around the head. The cowl has a metallic finish plate on the upper left front. There is a seam between the cowl and the neck
The neck has a neoprene or similar balaclava for movement
There are hose fittings on each side of the cheeks in a dark grey metallic finish
The hose fittings are CPAP elbows made by Fisher and Paykel Vitera model or similar looking ones
The hoses are clear ribbed 3/4" outer diameter with a smaller 3/16" hose inside
The hoses run to the back box
Hands / Gloves
There are silicone or foam latex fingers that match the screen used hands
There are vertical valleys sculpted into the fingertips
The gloves are a fingerless short glove in a reddis brown (very similar to Din Djarin's gloves)
There is a trapezoid shaped dark brown leather back plate that is sewn to the back of the gloves
Bracers / Gauntlets
The bracers are a dark blue color. They are symmtrical in design left to right
There is a flamethrower nozzle on the underside near the wrist in a metallic finish
There are 6 round cylindrical greeblies at the wrist, 3 on each side of the write flame thrower. They are gold and silver with a metallic finish
There are disc shaped greeblies on the sides of the upper bracer, with two round indents
There are 5 rectangular buttons at the top of the bracer in a silver metallic finish
There is a control pad on the top face of the bracer with red and silver buttons
Right bracer
There is a black ribbed hose that extends from the top of the bracer and goes into a hole in the duster jacket near the lower tricep of the sleeve
Left bracer
There is a section of 1/2"clear braided hose that extends from the top of the bracer and loops back into the bottom of the bracer
Inner jacket
The inner jacket is medium brown in a (insert fabric type) with windows for greeblies on the left and right chest and lower left stomach area
The jacket is weathered
The greeblies match the screen reference (insert information re: shape and details)
There is a right chest pocket with a rounded bottom corner
The pocket and front colsure has a darker colored edging
The jacket has a tall mandarin style collar. There appears to be an inner shirt or a false dickie style collar under the jacket that overlaps left to right
Ammo Belt
There is a leather ammo belt approx 3" tall in the front, that tapers to approx 2.5". It is brown leather
There is a 1" ammo loop strap across the front
There are 13 ammo rounds across the stomach
There is a flat double cap rivet in bronze at the end of the ammo rounds to secure the ammo loop strap
The ammo rounds are approx 2.75" / 70mm tall
Blaster belt
There is a 2"wide main belt with a trapezoid shaped buckle. It is brown leather
The main buckle suspends two Austria Alpin Nautic Cobra buckles. They have 1.75" wide slots
The hip straps extend from the buckles to the holster, and attach at the rear of the belt (reference needed)
The holster attaches to the hip straps through a slit cut into the hip straps. It is secure with 4 double cap rivets in brass
The holster has a molded shape to the blaster. There is a cut slit to accomodate the scope on the blaster
There is a 3/4" thigh strap on each leg for the holster. There is a square buckle and keeper to adjust this strap
Duster trenchcoat
The duster is made from a herringone pattern wool knit or similar fabric in a medium tan color
The duster hangs to mid calf
There are large lapels with rectangular greeblies attached in a silver metal finish
There is a hole in the right lower tricep area for the flamethrower hose
The back of the jacket has a split with a strap at the top of the split
Back box
More reference and information needed
The hoses from the mask extend and attach to the box
there is a bracket with a short black antenna on the rigth side
The inside of the box appears to have sections of clear acrylic
there is a white and red LED on the box
There is a large cylindrical shaped greeblie attached to the bottom of the box
There is a panel at the back with greeblies attached
Pants
The pants are made from a coarse weave denim twill in a black / white color with a weave that faces upper right to bottom left
There is a front fly closure visible
The pants are brushed and weathered
Boots
The boots are Harley Davidson Dendon boots in black or similar. They are approx 9" tall and sit below the calf muscle
They are heavily weathered to a brown color
The Harley Davidson logo has been sanded off, there are sanding marks throughout to distress the boots
The buckle on the boot was removed and replaced with a metal O ring approx 1.25" in size
The inside zipper of the boots are hidden with a leather flap
There are metal looking toe plates in a silver metallic finish
(higher level accuracy): the boots have the original Harley Davidson sole pattern
Leg ammo bandolier
There is a bandolier on each leg. It is brown leather
The ammo rounds are the same as the ammo belt
There are approx 24 ammo rounds (this is TB because it may vary depending on the size of the wearer?)
There is a 3" wide rear strap, with a 1" ammo loop strap to hold each round in place. There is a brass double cap rivet at each end of the strap
The rear strap starts and stops before and after the inner boot zipper
The ammo rounds are approx 2.75" / 70mm tall
Hat

The mask fittings are Fisher & Paykel Vitera elbows from their CPAP masks. The mask side fittings are custom. Inside the hose (which is a resplabs 19mm or 3/4"hose) is an approx 1/4"vinyl tube with wire inside to secure the shape.

These are some behind the scenes photos during a test fitting of the costume while it was a work in progress. Note the discarded leg wraps, the missing parts, new boots, etc Note that the fabrics were not weathered or distressed at this stage
