Here is the my build for my latest version of Cable from the X-Men. I loosely based it off the depiction of Cable from John Gallagher (uncannyknack.deviantart.com)

In the past, I used an android morphsuit from Morphsuits.com as the bionic arm

But for this version I decided to use a metallic silver fabric paint to apply directly to the muscle suit (Flex Design Costumes made the muscle suit)

From there I began templating and building the armor out of foam. This was my first time using templates and making armor out of foam.
Midway through I decided to change up the shoulder pads and the back of the armor

For the greaves and the back piece, I used a Gemma and Neopixels from Adafruit.com that I programmed to have a slightly pulsating red glow to them. The back piece uses a 24 LED circle Neopixel board that randomly flickers certain sections. Below is a link to a video on my Facebook page where I show the lighting in the back and in the side holster rifle.

I took the muscle suit and blue undershirt to my buddy Rudy (Rcc Creations) to airbrush the bionic arm and add some texture and design to the undershirt.

My first test fit

and the first image back from a shoot I did with MDR Foto Art

I also have Zod Fabrications making me a new sci-fi rifle to go along with the costume. It is based off the Jade Rabbit rifle from Destiny and is approximately 4' long

And I have Samhain Contacts making me a custom pair of prescription lenses to go with the costume to wear at cons based off of this look
