More updates on the GA kit.....

The GA kit will end up being the weathered version and the TK409 will be pristine gold chrome look

Testing some gold metallic paint....since the GA kit will be weathered I will not be doing vac metal.....I think this color looks pretty damn good


For the TK409 kit I will be going with vac metal

The TK409 kit is awesome...very expensive but is easy to put together....it takes about a year to get one of those kits when you order

Can you tell why you've decided on vac-metallizing? It seems much more expensive than gold plating.

Vac melt will look awesome when done! But hey what gold paint are you using for that ?

Lucky son of a gun. most of us would kill for a 3po you get two =/ life is soooooooooooooo unfair at times lol....

Love the progress on both cant wait to see how they turn out. saddly this will now take about twice as log as you got two on the go, and did i see a Mandalorian backpack can`t really tell even expanding the image is it completed?.

your now on my list of people i envy lol

I have been working on the PVC frame of the suit to be displayed on .....

Just need to work on the arms and then sart adding all of the greeblies to the suit

Hey DM, whats the go with the thigh pieces, am my eyes playing tricks? my right hand side of the pic, the thigh looks a bit narrow(smaller) compared to the left thigh side?

Did you squash it with the heat gun to fit? Also are you going to leave a bit more room around the stomach area for the belly full of wires?
