C3P0 Build Thread

that's what I Was wondering. it looks like the only change to the basic design is a T ball stand addition. how does the pipe get attached to the plate so it's firm?

For what you spend on the chroming process, $80 is pretty cheap for piece of mind to know he won't be tumbling over

heh, true. I'll give it a shot. what was the one you used?

sending remaining parts to chromer this week. hopefully done in a month.

I don't recall the exact model I used but I think if you buy one with arms it has a metal base that is slightly larger. If you see mine its more rectangle base than square but I think square should work fine. Its really sturdy though. And the rod from the base slides right into the pvc. Almost like they're made for each other. So who is your chromer? They're doing a really nice job

Looks a lot like the cheap mannequin stand I bought. I got mine off ebay and asked if I could just buy the stand.

the most stressful part. sending the parts out for shipping and hope they don't get lost or damaged in transit.
thank god for company fex account and overnight shipping. should be chromed and finished by july 4th. three week turnaround.

will also be doing an anovos trooper build thread when it comes in

ugh. fed ex tracking shows the package tried to be dropped off in bethlehem PA despite the address clearly saying Wind Gap PA.
trying again monday.....nervous nelly.

wow, mine got done early. unfortunately I still need another week to clear my credit card so the minimum can pay for it.
hopefully he can hold on to it for a week longer.

it's got a metal base now and part of a manaquin leg holding it up. so, it's a bit more stable and won't topple over.
However, it STILL needs work.
