Budget Terminator Skull - 1st attempt

OK, my 1st attempt at projects are ridiculously inaccurate by this forums standards, but they are fun and I like to use found items and convert them. This is a Halloween plastic skull that I would like to "resemble" a T2 skull. Has anyone done something like this? What are the mandatory features?
Chrome smooth finish?
Some sharp edges?
V shape in forehead?
Servos connecting jaw?

I am using spackle to smooth the surface and will fabricate some metal pieces. I will then insert metal eyes with red LED's.

Joe, I have an endoskull. If you need any photos to help with the detail just send me a pm and I'll hook you up.

Great idea, but very challenging. Would you make it easier on yourself trying to make an alternate version?

This will definitely be an "alternate" version. I am just trying to identify the most recognizable features.

Very cool. Actually if you look at the design art and other materials on the extra on some Terminator DVDs some of the original sketches are even cooler than the finished endo so you could always go with those as reference.

Is there a material I can pour into the hole in the plastic skull to re-enforce it? I am going to have to dremel out some of the material.

Plaster O Paris! I'm interested on your silver paint scheme as I am working on an On Stranger Tides metal looking skull myself!!!

Ok, I am understanding the visual clues to represent an endo skull.

1. Metal - needs a chrome finish on some parts
2. Machined - Smooth edges, but fabricated "non natural" look
3. Flat face
4. Eyes - Like a pair of expensive sunglasses.

I need to build out the chin and forehead. Then I will dremmel out the structures. I am going to cut an opening in the bottom to change the look but also to give access to the inside for wiring the eyes.

I put a coat of primer to add strength to the Spackle. I will use more spackle to add shape and then re-sand.
I am going to use a spray primer and then a metallic chrome spray finish.

I think I have to grind off the teeth and re-sculpt from scratch.
The Terminator can't have an Austin Powers mouth.

Even so, you're heading in the right direction with it. It's looking progressive closer each picture you've posted. :D

Thanks for the encouragement. It's an odd thing when you know what is wrong, but aren't exactly sure how to fix it.
The teeth bug me. I need to fill the mouth in from the back side, grind off the teeth and then add spackle to the mouth and carve new choppers.

It is a sinister look, a devilish smile, not a jolly rodgers...

Oh baby, just back from the dentist. I need to sculpt the teeth a little but
"Tell your Grandma to bring the car around" :love

Now need to work on the jaw hydrolics and spine.
