Budget Judge Build- first ever cosplay :)

I used knifing putty. I will freely admit I am a lazy crafter, I hate sanding and wish I had a sander as doing it by hand makes me sad. I will give it a bit more of a sand today though and see if I can get it to a point where I can re fill. Thanks chaps

my Black&Decker Mouse Sander was the best £££ I've ever spent. Not sure I would have completed my Helm without it.

I have to admit that in my noobishness, I was a little heavy handed with the Bondo on this build (my first build... live and learn)

Its worth signing up for the Aldi and Lidl newsletters, they are always putting out cheap tools that are quite good for the price.

A rummage in the she'd has delivered a belt sander, reckon I could use that or will it be too hard to control?

Is there any way you can secure the sander in position, belt up? You can then hold your helm with both hands and move it on the sander.
Personally I would not want to have to hold my helm in one hand and a belt sander in the other.

Please be careful if you try this!!!!

image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgMade some progress this weekend :)

image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgMy helmet is done at an estimated £25 belt buckle sourced from eBay (sorry), and my son as a junior judge.
