Still digging the way this is coming together.

I checked into the putty you are using, and it seems to only be available in the Philippines (at least that is what my Google-Fu produced). I want to find a similar product, but until them I am using the standard body filler.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of this build. Keep it going!!!

Mahalo!

Any chance you can go into great detail for me on how you did your chestpiece? You can PM me if you would like, I am new at this and step by step directions usually help me out.

Re: budget Batman TDK ( re-build whole suit)

Do you have pictures of you wearing all the parts you've finished? Great job!

heres what is done so far (minus the abs armor)...sorry for crappy pics...cam was lowbat, but noticed it only when i've put on the finished parts..plus gloves make pushing the button harder..hehe

shoulders are temporarily taped in place...still haven't figured out how i'm gonna finally attach 'em using elastics/straps...hoping to finish this for halloween and hoping to lose a couple of pounds as well...lol....oh and thats my budget Vader build in the background...

Shoot, that's really AWESOME bro!!! Didn't know you've done a lot already. I think it's easy to find at Divisoria a mesh-like material for the undersuit? Thanks for the pics! Any chance you'll show up in this suit or Vader's at the MOA cosplay this September 14 & 15?

thanks ! not really a cosplayer bro, the younger generation might not accept a 45 year old guy strutting around in his scratchbuilt/homemade costumes . lol, but tempted to go although not to go in the competition parts. hahaha, this hobby of making stuff from everyday items is a great stress reliever for me. will prolly wear the suit for Halloween ;), do you have wip pics of your Vader?

GALING TALAGA!!!! awesome job bro. MAD SKILLZ!!!

thanks bro, looks like you got a great TDK Joker there.

Re: budget Batman TDK ( re-build whole suit)

I know what you mean, I'm 43 years old so cosplaying as Vader is the only way young people will not see me. My Rubie's costume needs a lot of adjustment to fit me. I got the XL size but I'm only 5'11".

Saw months ago in Sulit.com. a wearable TDK Bats cowl, but it costs 18k I think. The seller is letting go of his 2nd (unworn, mint) cowl.

Btw, how does it feel to wear that cowl for the first time? I could imagine it must be surreal and empowering.

This is stunning work. Very well done - You should feel very proud.

And the IDE cable usage really cheered me up - genius!
