Pizza bag arrived in the UK today Mark! Very pleased with it. Looks awesome! Thank you very much:thumbsup
would it be possible to get one pizza, two bags, registered shipping and hold the olives, Ta.
I just had an idea, do you have any sizable off cuts of the fabric for Doc browns shirt from BTTF 2 for a display?
I have sent through payment and saved your details, I think I might be paying you again in the future![]()
The package arrived today, Thank you so much for that.
Shipping was quick, faster than eBay.
Another satisfied customer, thanks![]()
The pizza is still a litlle "sticky" (I suppose due to the glue used on the toppings), and has been outside the bag for a couple of weeks now. Does anybody know a good way to dry the pizza completely so it stays as a hard plastic? (or at least not sticky). Thanks!
PS: Not complaining about the quality of the prop. It's gorgeus, but if I can get rid of that sticky surface, it could be great!
Mine is still sticky on the green peppers only, I am also curious if anyone had figured out a way to get it to cure nicely.
Are the green peppers painted? Are they soft to the touch cut pieces of rubber like material or are they hard with a tackiness to them? You could try clear coating them, if they have a shine to them with clear gloss or hit them with a light spray of matte varnish. The matte varnish has worked on my models in the past. Mostly the items I found to be tacky have been green, gold and silver in colour. Worth a try.
the peppers are soft to the touch and rubber-like. Only problem with spraying is that I don't want to get anything else in the spray and ruin the crust finish. I was thinking maybe a waterbased varathane I could apply with a brush, I have some, just don't know how it will turn out.
Yeah, applying with a brush will stop over spray, true. I guess paint a little on one of the peppers and see what it does. Report back here if you try it, then others may give it a go on theirs too, if it works. i have heard of people using a cotton bud (Q-Tip) with a little WD40 works on removing stickiness from rubber. Then use a clean end on cotton bud to remove the WD40 from each pepper. Might be worth a shot, before going down the spraying or brushing on stuff route.
Ok, here's some pics
Thanks again Mark, this is one of my favorite props and I'm super glad that I have it.![]()
