I wonder if anybody knows the correct/authentic measures from "A" and "B" for the new BSG rank pins.

It varies from rank to rank I think. Check out MJF's pins over on ASAP for the best stuff.

Yep. A member named allupo has been making these and they're fantastic. Should be the top thread under the "Pins, Patches, etc." section
