Browning M2HB, M2A1, M3 & AN/M2 machine gun 3D printed - Terminator RSB-80?

With the entire MK93 mount and the prop, it certainly does take up a lot of room, not to mention the M3 tripod. I have my weapon props displayed in my workshop. Every time I print another, it tries my wife's patience.

PM sent.

I wouldn't dare Taz...:lol::lol:

Tazman2000... I purchased your 3d Print program for the 50cal about 6 months ago. I had my son print out all the parts for me. I've been slowly putting it together and its coming along very nicely. I didn't see this thread until now which I see you have added parts that I'm very familiar with and would like to add. I'm a retired Marine and was a crewchief and door gunner on the CH-46E helicopter. My primary weapon was the XM-218 50cal machine gun. The file I have does not have the full jacket for the barrel to include the 4 pronged flash suppressor. Is this something you can help me with?

Probably one of my most detailed and accurate works ever with a retracting bolt, extractor moving on a cam, belt feed slide and arm moving along cam folding front and rear sights. Since it is only a prop, lots of internal workings were omitted. Some tradeoffs had to be made between accuracy and PLA strength, but that was minor. The barrel and barrel jacket are removable for storage. I also added a different handle for the Back Plate, so if someone wanted to use Wood PLA they could stain the grips. I also redesigned the Terminator drum to look more like the movie version.

Still working on an instruction set.

Hi Tazman:

I run a small military museum South of Ottawa. The Swords and Ploughshares Museum. We would be interested in discussing 3D printed display pieces to mount on some of our vehicles. Cheers! Mike Calnan.

Hi Mike,

I thought that I sent you a PM yesterday but it doesn't seem like it went out and I can't even find it in my history. I'm on vacation with my family and will be driving up to Ottawa tomorrow morning. I can stop by to discuss a project. The only time I can make it is tomorrow morning. Hopefully that works out for you.

If there is problems with communication, on this platform, let me know here. Otherwise send me a "Start a Conversation" when you click on my profile.

Yes. We visited the Canadian Air and Space Museum, stopped by Parliament Hill, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and went for a walk down the Rideau Canal. Quite a beautiful city. The Cicadas (I think) were making irritating sounds during our walk by the canal. They sound similar to a dental drill. Not a calming sound, to anyone, except a dentist of course.

I am currently working on an aisoft m2 browning. Unfortunetly I was only able to find one schematic online and i was wondering if i would be able to get access to the schematics you based your model on. If not thats also fine.

Thx anyway

I am a member of the CAF SoCal and we are rebuilding a Vietnam era M106 mortar carrier that is in need of a display
50 cal Browning. Please contact me with information on how to get your 3D files.

Thanks

I've returned to make the M2 and M3 more accurate. I've found better references and have redesigned every component to make it more easily printable, and reduced the amount of different sizes of brass tubing to use. Still a bit to go. Also, the rivet holes are designed to actually take real round head rivets for a more realistic appearance. Considering the real weapon is still in use, I have yet to find some component blueprints, most likely because of security concerns. The insides will most likely be just like my old one but with more detail. This design should fit actual real world mounts and aircraft, but I still had to make ease of printing a priority an not real world accuracy on a few parts that will not affect outward appearance and fit.

You're really amazing. I just registered on the platform yesterday, and I saw that you have been making this gun since 2020. I hope to get your model for 3D printing as a birthday gift for my child. Do you have the STL format file? Thank you.
