I certainly do as that had been in my home for months LOL! All the pieces from the auction were from our collection! Now just don't try and be like Jesse and try heroine in that shirt or try and get some methylamine from Lydia as the DEA might have GPS on those barrels ;) Congrats and would love to see what else you got!

I don't want to brag but I won several items.. I had to share somwhere however! oh so what did you win TopGear? I'm so happy with the items I got, amazing that we can own these things which were worn on the show. I do wonder however if the actual items I won were worn, like I know they were used on the show and they come with certificates of authenticity, but how many versions of this shirt and the red nike pants Jesse wore did they have? In the auction there were two different lots with this shirt one with the red strip pants (I won this one) and one with just the shirt. So I wonder did they just have like five copies of every item and maybe they used one or two? Seems likely as they couldn't take the chance of having a problem and not having a wardrobe item so likely they would have 2-3 of each item at least and maybe the actors only wore one or two... anyways I'm super stoked. I was just re-watching Mandala (s2e11 I think) and I noticed a really cool white and red with skulls hoodie that Jesse wore. I never saw this one in any auctions, wonder how we can get a replica of it. Anyone know what that one is? let's see if I can get a pic.... Mandala.jpg maybe a google image search will work let me try that... oh and wow some of those auction prices went crazy. I was really wanting the hoodie from breakage with the red shirt, but that one went up over $1000 that's just crazy!

vecroct- yes they did have multiples of many of the pieces for exactly that reason- if something got damaged. They also would buy different sizes too and obviously see what they felt gave the look the wanted and fit the way the wanted. All pieces from the auction were from the production but they may not necessarily have been seen on screen. Some items we were able to screen match and those items were noted in the auction.

From episode where Jesse tries to sell meth to Tuco but ends up getting beaten up. S1 E6

Yeah you will never know 100% if it actually worn on screen unless it has a stain or hole or something but i'm ok with that, as I like having something from my favourite show

What other items did you win?

I love that one as well, It's very unique. I ended up winning 5 lots as I was trying to ensure I won some and went overboard I guess. Here is what I won:

I couldn't believe the prices on some of the items, originally I tried to win this one instead of these others but it just got out of hand and went for over $1000:lost.jpg

Yeah I'm ok with that as well, just that these were from the show and could have been worn is enough for me. The hoodie Brian Cranston wore at that wrap party, I'm pretty sure must be the actual one he wore as I'm pretty sure there was only one of those, not like it was worn on screen but just for the party. I had to have that one as a friend of mine took photo's of that at the party and I wanted to share it with him when I visit him in Hollywood one day! Anyways I'm looking for some replicas of other hoodies if anyone has any details on hoodies worn by Jesse! Love this show and so happy to have found this forum to share details on collecting memorabilia. Thanks everyone!

It was amazing to me that items from that auction sold for as much as they did. I mean I'm not a costume guy anyway, but the breaking bad clothing to me other than the hazmat suits is just so "regular". Probably because I'm from Albuquerque and see people wearing Jesse's type of clothing multiple times a day. Looks like some of you guys got some great looking pieces, just not my kind of thing I guess.

That is always one of those delicate things that brings up the question of value. One could argue that most props are just a couple of dollars of resin or that a lot of armor is only a few dollars of ABS. Are these just clothes? In one sense, yeah... they are. But it is what they represent and that they trigger memories to a show that a lot of people loved dearly (look at this 53 page thread as proof).

Beyond that, value comes from the fact that these aren't clothes from tertiary characters or even secondary characters. These are from the main two characters.

Finally, as we have discovered, only a few of these pieces were made and sold in stores for any significant length of time. Most were simply seasonal pieces that were bought during the run of the show and are no longer available... and since they are just "regular" clothes, no one saved them or thought anything of them, so finding other copies of most of the pieces is all but impossible.

As we still have a PILE of these pieces ourselves, I know the value for us goes way beyond dollars (otherwise, we would have sold them ;)). For us, it is really cool to be able to say "Walt/Jesse wore this exact piece in this exact seen. Millions of people have seen that scene and I own that piece."

LOVE seeing you wearing the shirt! Some people are so weird about that kind of thing and want to treat original pieces like a museum piece, but you better believe, every piece I buy that I can fit into, I have to try on at least once! Congrats on your win!

Speaking of... several people have asked me about some of the pieces we kept. I'll try to get some posted up. Here is Jesse's hoodie and shirt from Season 1, Episode 4:

The jacket is screenmatched to the scene when Jesse fights with Walter by the pool. There aren't enough details on the t-shirt to say it is an absolute screen match.

I'll have to go back and look. We didn't keep nearly as much of Walt's stuff as Jesse's. While Walt is the obvious main character, for us, his pieces just don't display the way Jesse's do.

Will there be a second breaking bad auction by you like screenbid did.

There second auction had items that were more generic (hard to identify to episode/scene) and not all of them screen worn - as far as i could tell

No. Everything we sold through Prop Store in the first auction was from our personal collection. As I mentioned, we have quite a bit left but Star Wars Chick is wanting to keep those pieces in our collection as they are important to her. We don't have any generic items. We only had/have pieces from Jesse/Walt (and that one outfit from Hank). I suspect, over time, she MIGHT let go of one or two more pieces, but you won't see another auction sale from us.
