bit of a random one .. does anyone know where the black money barrels were sourced from.. or a specific type/name i should be searching for..(im in the uk so probably harder to find)
ive already pre ordered the collector's edition blu rays in the cute little barrel but i really want a full sized one ..

You're looking for 55 gallon (220 - 230L in UK) HDPE black plastic drums/barrels.

plastic oil drum | eBay

These are similar.

They aren't easy to find - most barrels in the UK tend to be blue.

Just ordered the hat in a large!

Heads up everyone, the kind people at Goorin will call their shops to check if they have your size. I emailed their CS and by afternoon I was able to pay over the phone.

So excited, it'll be here on friday. I thought I had missed out.

Man, I'm really hoping I can find those shades eventually. Quick question though: do the lenses look darker in real life? On the show, when Walt wears them, they pretty much black out his eyes so you can't see them at all. These lenses look a little more transparent. Does the manufacturer offer different lens color options or did the show replace the factory lenses with darker ones?

I'm sure when light reflects on them they look darker but I will try it out.We do see Walt wearing them outside all the time .I never came across ones with darker lenses.I don't see the prop guys modding them there only sunglasses.if they wanted darker lenses I'm sure they could of chose from a bunch of different models readily available.

True. It's just every time I remember seeing Walt with his shades on, his eyes were pretty much invisible.

Either way, I must have those sunglasses. I've been trying for a good while to figure out what brand and model they were... only to discover that they are long-since discontinued :(. Any tips on where I should look?

Cuzzin look at that first pic you posted if you look closely at the left side of his eye in the picture you can see right through the lens where Walts cheek stops ;) Where the lens gets dark is from Walts face shadow.

Ah, you might be onto something there. Plus, the show is probably very controlled with the lighting environment to make sure the lenses look very dark on camera.

No tips on how to get those though? :)

Cuzz I literally search everyday for another pair and NOTHING :-/ I have no idea where to find a pair.

Here's 2 pics of me wearing the shades. The first pic is on normally and the second is me tilting them down to show the difference in looks. Its safe to say the lighting is what's making these sunglasses look very dark in different shots of walt. These are without a doubt the correct model and color style that walt rocks.

Cool, thanks for the pics. They do look pretty dark when they are sitting right.

And don't go buying up all those shades, I need one too. LOL ;)

EDIT: So I found a used set, but it is pretty well-worn. There were scuffs on the lenses and it looked kinda dirty in the crevices around the lenses. I want mine to be in better condition. Does Smith sell replacement lenses for their various models?
