How did you cut and shape the aluminum crossbar?

I used an angle grinder to cut the shape. Then I bent the prod over my anvil by hand, finishing the harder, small curves, with a rawhide mallet.

Made with PVC pipe and I did attach a pump hair spray lid to the end
