Boba Fett: The Movie

No, they are simply going to wait till the tech becomes more affordable. The same thing happened with the 3D conversion. They wanted to do it many years ago but even though the technology existed, it was just too expensive.

I Will Fix Problem with Boba Fett, Movie should start like this , winey kid cant fly ship or fit into armor , hardcore bounty hunter kills kid takes ship and armor and uses kids I.D. thats who Boba Fett is

after reading this entire thread, I have one question..

Does anyone think in our lifetime that we will EVER see another incarnation of Star Wars?

Whether it be more sequels, re-boots, or spin-offs?

Yes, I think we will... either that or Star Wars will die entirely. Say what you will about the Clone Wars, but they haven't been able to sustain the franchise in a meaningful way. Sooner or later they will have to do a feature if they want to retain footing. Now, the real question is, will we see another GOOD Star Wars feature in our lifetime? Chances of that are slim.

He's a fanboy wet dream, created by same.

You say that as if it were a bad thing. Now, trust me, I am not enamored with the mystique of Boba Fett's character, but I absolutely love that for reasons which are not entirely clear, Joe Johnston spent an inordinate amount of time developing the look of this character and really going to town on all the details for seemingly no reason at all! The passion in Boba's costume is incredible and there is something very appealing about that.

Fett, four lines of dialogue delivered by three different people. Four if you count the re-dub.

How is that a character at all, let alone EVER?

He's a fanboy wet dream, created by same.

Danger, DANGER WILL ROBINSON!

Now that was compelling dialogue! And the design... Where he has legs... Stuck together? I know that in your childhood those old bots were magic... But now they are lame. And how many times did he need to tell the robinsons they were in danger???

They were LOST in SPACE!!! :angel

Everytime you diss the OT I can't help but think how stuff like forbidden planet and lost in space are just as special and perfect to you as the OT is to me.

Sure I know it isn't a flawless cinematic masterpiece. But I don't nit pick it to death because of the wonder and nostalgia it brings back from being a child.

This is a star wars lawn. Get off of it. :lol

The Robot never says Danger, Danger Will Robinson. Not once. Sorry.

Hey I love the OT more than anyone I know.

But the over the top fanboy adulation of stuff like Fett just puts a sour spin on it for me.

Perhaps GL isn't the hack he's accused of being if he can come up with characters, despite a lack of any meaningful screen time, that still resonates with fans enough to create the persona around it without any real basis for it, other than their own imaginations. Pretty damn cool if you ask me.

Well, to be fair to Fett, Star Wars isn't about him, so that's why he only gets a few lines. He's set up as a badass, and so we have to assume he is.
He fell into the sarlac like a punk, but like I said, that was a clone.

Stormtroopers also have just a few lines and can't shoot straight either. And yet thousands of people dress up as them.

The bad shooting must be an unexpected side effect of the degraded cloning stock after Jango was killed.

If it weren't for the costume Fett would kinda suck. Heck, the costume isn't even that great, it's all about the helmet. That's one badass helmet.

Oh, and Ken, it's "Danger Will Robinson, Danger!" Not "danger, danger". First season of Lost In Space was great TV. ;)

I have always like Fett, very iconic character design. The comics that came later and gave you more background were also good and i feel that is the way any new film will go. It would just be so much easier for any producer to keep all events prior to 'A New Hope' in my opinion. Anyhow, here's hoping!!

what happens in Coruscant, which is the major capital, and it’s a group of underground bosses who live there and control drugs, prostitution."

I have zero interest in a series about this.

All they had to do was make it an anothology. Different planet, different characters. Rebel encleves trying to start up here, a jedi hiding there, Imperials flexing their muscles another place, an occasional bounty hunter.

But 100 episodes of crime lords? Please.

Mic I was just giving you a hard time.

Seriously, the lost in space robot doesn't say that? I used to watch that all the time... Am I just remembering that from the horribly odd remake? If so... Shoot me now!

I just want to see someone else have a go at the sw universe. The damage has been done... I say might as well have a field day with it!!!

He said stuff LIKE that, but never (apparently) that exact popular quote. It's like the fact that Kirk never said "Beam me up, Scotty".

For me personally a Boba Fett movie would be a dream come true. He IS bad ass, bad ass enough to escape from and kill the Sarlacc monster. Yea he fell into the pit after his jetpack was triggered by blind Solo but he still manages to escape. His costume design is one of the best and most detailed in the star wars franchise IMO and if they can make him appear as he does in the books and comics, this could be truly awesome. Ill keep my fingers crossed this will be made even though I doubt it will.

Great fix there darkknight! Lol.

Really...something unexpected is what made star wars good in the first place, and that would be a nice twist.
