Boba Fett: The Movie

Even that inarticulate lizard thing that can't walk or move much.

I thought he already had been in a movie....

jeyl love your post hahaha

found this quote online
"you guys both got to stop perpetuating this myth that Boba Fett is some kind of bad-ass. All right? He has a jet pack. So did the Rocketeer. Really cool. When it comes time for battle, the man's Michael Bay - all style, no substance."

hahaha gotta love Fanboys!!!!!!!! I use that quote on Facebook all the time

Boba was overrated and his father was an idiot. "Let me keep running straight at this Jedi who is easily deflecting my blaster fire until I get within range of his light saber so he can cut off my head."

What a genius. :unsure

I thought he was backing up and tried to escape? I seem to recall that they added a short-out of flames to his jetpack to explain why he just stood there.

Keyword being "added". And even with the sparks and muffled smoke coming from his jetpack, it's really not something a casual viewer will be able to catch since it occurs right after Mace destroys Jango's blaster and is already performing his decapitating move. A little bit more setup or an actual shot of him not being able to use his jetpack to escape could have been more helpful.

George always intended to have them go back to Geonosis.

;)

Honestly, I have no idea. I was just saying that I thought in the moment that he didn't actually charge Mace, and it was rather the other way round.

Oops my mistake it was Mace running at Jango. I thankfully haven't watched the movie in years and the details are fading. :thumbsup

Never noticed the sparks coming from the jetpack before, it doesn't add a lot to the scene and is hard to notice. At any rate you would have thought they would have had Jango dodge the blade at least once. They didn't do a very good job of convincing the audience how badass either Jango or Boba were supposed to be.

The rhino guy runs him over and in the theatrical release we never seen any sparks. But in the dvd Jango stands up and sparks come from the top of the jetpack and flames shoot out just before the blade hits his neck.

Kurt Russell? How bout Jeff Bridges?

I'm not sure how I feel about a Boba Fett film BUT I'd probably see it.

As long as it's live-action and NOT 3D.

I'd rather see a story about an up and coming bounty hunter where Boba Fett is the rival. And the twist in the end reveals that Boba Fett isn't good at Bounty Hunting at all. Hey, it would fit!

I think on his first mission he was told a buncha crap from the other bounty hunters like "Hey new guy, use your jetpack fly in and decintegrate that group of dudes we need to take in" then he does...

That one incident spread thru the galaxy "hey watch out, Boba Fett decintegrated 15 people at once... On his first mission!" Wait, one other bounty hunter was involved in the incident: Dengar. From then on he said "i will get payback!" so Bossk and Zuckuss say "Dengar Payback!" and the name sticks.

Fast forward to TESB, everyone is scared of this guy, he's quiet, masked, works under Vader, so he thinks to himself, "I'm not that bad, it was an accident, oh well, street cred is a must so i'll run with it... Hey if i'm gone they won't give me a bad time! I'm hoppin in the garbage chute, nobody knows this method...."

After the end credits, it shows the sarlaac pit, Jabba's sail barge in smokey crumbs. The sarlaac screams in pain, then Fett flies towards the camera like Neo!

I agree Jango was a moron in that part. I don't know how he ever defeated Jedi when you make the elementary mistake of firing your blaster at one... Still he did just get run over by that rhino thing. Maybe he had a concussion and wasn't operating at 100%? :lol

As for the Boba movie, I'd rather have him do an episode of the upcoming live action show. Besides after Capt. America JJ would probably say that Boba wasn't really Mandalorian and that he's all about peace and love or something.

Jango had a chance to take Mace out before the rhino ran him over. Mace lost his saber and all Jango had to do was shoot Mace, but instead he dives after the saber and then gets run over by the rhino. No wonder Boba was lame he had really bad genes.

as long as the MC Chris song is in it prominently as the theme song, i'm down.

"my backpack's got jets. I'm Boba the Fett..."
