Boba Fett Costumers, who are the best here?

:rolleyes
One side of the story is all we have.... :thumbsdown

Yeah, but if someone is watching this thread in preperation of making their own suit and sources to seek out, I would certainly want to know who to be leary of.
:thumbsup

Very good guy!:thumbsup
But as for thedentedhelmet, going there you will get good reviews of Fettpride from 98% of that board. Which if it is any consulation, I was wiery of FP way back, but he is a good person.

FP, has gone out of his way to make good on items... I don't know what made itsthatguy have a bad go with FP but I can say that FP is one of the good Fett makers...
and his prices are AWESOME for what you get!! again Jeremy Bulloch's own ESB suit has FP armor on it. and helmet.

Jeremy's suit looks so good in fact that many ROTJ guys, switched over to ESB because of it!

BobaMaker is good but with the exchange rate and distance, I'd go for a FP anyday!

and Chris has stated personal priorities are better, so his goods are soon available to buy again.

"Again...top shelf!":thumbsup

TDH = (y)thumbsup(y)thumbsup:thumbsup

Regarding FP, I believe that the deal gone bad would be something he would surely make good on, even in this late stage of whatever happened....he's top shelf material. Regarding his availability of items, he's busy,...very busy with personal priorities. You can still find some FP items float around for sale here and there so his namesake is still attainable. Again...top shelf!

Here's what my fett looked like before I had to sell it :cry
All the armor was fettpride. I'm slowly building my suit back up ESB.

But anyways...most of your money will be spent on painting...unless you do it yourself. If that's the case the jetpack will cost the most.

Some w.i.p shots of my old FPH helmet which I have since sold, I did the paint up on this myself, if you want help in that area I have some time after christmas where I may be able to do a paint up for you

Hey there. I agree with everyone on Bobamaker. But, I also support- MLC, and ManofWar Studios. These 3 guys made up the majority of my suit. Oh! And Sgt. Fang for the bucket. :) But, here's what I've got that makes up my Fett.

ManofWar- gaunts(two pairs ESB, in pics are version 2)

MLC- all armor and version 2 jetpack

Bobamaker- jumpsuit

Sgt. Fang- helmet

99 Cent Taco- Ammo belt

Batninja- flak vest

Jango Wes- boots(run out of production fyi)

Me- ESB blaster scratchbuild, wookie braids, gloves, complete armor/bucket paintjob

Here's a few of my fav. current pics of my suit, from Emerald City Comic Con this last March.

I don't have any awesome studio shots like TK7602 has, but here's about the most recent pic of my suit from a Halloween event we did in October, in natural sunlight. A family pic as you will. That Care Bear is Kimmy's sister, the Predator is Kimmy's dad, Kimmy's wearing her Sandtrooper and I'm wearing my Boba.

- Full suit of Fettpride armor, including gauntlets - with metal darts from Ruffkintoy. Also has metal knee darts from PSBeretta. Armor modded by myself to more accurately match the Magic of Myth armor.

- Mark Bradley jetpack and shin tools ( old school 1999 !!! ) Jetpack has metal beacon from DeanO, which lights up. I also repainted my jetpack a few years ago once the proper movie accurate colors had been found by Rogue Studios.

- TK409 cape and Magic Of Myth horsehair braids from Julie

- Mark Cheng boots

- Slave 1 gloves

- Neckseal sewn by mom. :cool

- JK2 Costumers jumpsuit, saddlebags, spats, vest ( again from 1999, company no longer in business. )

- Sith Camaro leather ammo belt

I painted and weathered everything except the helmet, which I bought used off Dented Helmet member mrgr8ness back last year and yes it's an old Don Post 1996 vinyl with Bobmaker visor, which actually fits my skinny frame better than most of the larger movie sized helmets do. They make me look bobble-headed. I learned killer paintjobs like the one he did on it can hide a lesser quality helmet well. At Dragon Con '07, Braks Buddy/ Art Andrews was looking over my helmet and thought it was a Sgt. Fang. :)

The last thing I plan to upgrade is getting a more accurate blaster. Then in the future I'll probably make an ESB Boba, since I've realistically done over 100 events wearing my ROTJ Boba so far, so gotta mix it up for the future. :lol

I'm guessing everyone's seen this? Some more to obsess over, an argument or two to settle, and a couple of nits to pick. Be sure to watch the entire vid. It's certainly not new, a few stills from it show up, but at times when folks start to talk 'best' or accuracy, it's fun to point out, esp if trying to nail earlier or white test shot versions. :)
