Hahahahaha, Strange Brew. My dad introduced me to this movie a while ago. One of the better low-budget 80s comedies, IMO.
I don't know about the hockey goalie masks, but the helmet is definitely a Cooper SK2000. They have 4 holes, so they're either small or medium. Large sizes have 5 holes. I know this because Tron used the same hockey helmets and I'm working on a Tron costume, LOL.

side note on the sk2000 helmets.
They were the helmet that a lot of the goalies that wore helmet and cages instead of masks used. They stopped being made however, and some goalies were forced to either:
a) horde the helmets if they could find them.
b) switch to masks
or c) have a replica made for them
Option c is what Dominik Hasek ended up doing, getting a fibreglass/carbon/aramid mixture made up that was otherwise a copy.
I remember around 2001, there was a call put out by a few of the NHL equipment managers asking rec leagues to please send them those cooper helmets if they had any.
