Blues Brothers, The (1980)

Re: Blues Brothers

Thanks, Brad. Any idea what the actual size is supposed to be printed out?

I've got an unused original, and it's 14" X 21 3/4" (maybe 22"- I was having trouble getting the tape to stand still.)

Good luck!

Re: Blues Brothers

I did this up a while back. Here is the PShop'd cleaned up version of the poster. Enjoy.

I print these out at 13 x 19 inches.

Re: Blues Brothers

This is Glue. Strong stuff.

The Label for Elwood's Epoxy is made to go on a can with a 6 inch tall label.

The rear label text is spaced to match the blurry text seen in the movie. Remember all cans aren't necessarily exactly the same diameter so you may need to modify the width of the gaps.

Re: The Blues Brothers (1980)

Nice business cards, we need to get this thread merged with the already existing Blues Brothers paper props thread.

Nice but whats the story of the prop? Is this the wish list Bob gave to the band? If so, I dont think there is Rawhide and stand by your man on it... Dont know exactly the other songs, but maybe some other country hits would find playe on the list... :)

This is the list given by Bob to the blues Brothers in the book "Private" where you can find the Elwood driver license too.

Here's something a little different - Elwood Blues 'real-world' Driver Licence.

Please feel free to post an appropriate colour photo of Dan - couldn't find one that'd work, and colourising the scan didn't pan out :) ).

I used the info from the prop licence in the 'Blues Brothers - Private' book, and google-fu found a pic of an old Illinois licence.

Added a couple of details, and changed the number to the one from the movie (seen on the SCMODS computer). Pretty close, I think.

Also from the Private book, there are a couple of dud credit cards 'aquired' by Elwood under the name Johnny Friendly.
I redrew & coloured 'em:
