Bloodhound Helmet/Hat Apex Legends

Hey there. Currently looking at making a cosplay of Bloodhound from Apex Legends, and the first thing I want to make is the hat. Does anyone have any tips on the best way to go about this? I have a 3D printer and am considering printing it out and then getting some leather/fabrics to lay on top but the only stl files I can find are like $50 and I'm not looking to pay for any print files. Any other methods you could suggest or a free file for their helmet/hat?
