I've just made this awesome Gaff helmet from custom made parts which none are original WW2 pieces. i think i may add some more details to the side where the curled over metal is as it looks more like a chip board on the original. Just thought i would share this wonderful project.

Sorry i haven't logged on in a while, i scratched built the whole helmet from anything i could think of to put it together. brass tube, flat steel, etc
