BLADE RUNNER Chess Set.

As some of you are aware, Rick Ross has sculpted his own incredible replica chess pieces from BLADE RUNNER. I was very fortunate to recently obtain the first complete set that he produced two years ago, and am so pleased with them that I had to share.

The screen seen pieces are actually Ivory and Red, not Green like those here. But the Green actually fits my asthetic, as well as the custom chess board that I had in mind for it. This is the only set of it's kind as a result, as any others offered will be Red and Ivory. And I'm already thinking of getting one of those sets as well.

Eveything about these pieces is superb. The detailing, the weight, the coloring. It's as perfect as a prop replica can be. It's functional, and it's also got the ability to go completely unrecognized *as* a prop.

I love it.

Great minds think alike as I also produced a Sebastian's chess set , my artist's interpretation of course ,( and not a million miles from Ricks) complete with illuminated board as Rick was doing his I was making mine - I give Rick his due his are much more 'atmospheric and moody!' as soon as I work out how to post pictures on here I'll get some up .

I also made the proper el-sheet chessboard built from production and art dept notes.
