I just finished this up for a client. Wanted to show it off to you guys. The glasses and shirt are just for the photos, not accurate, I know.

Yeah, that's killer (no pun intended). :thumbsup

I love the quality you achieved with the "tattoos."

Any chance of posting some shots without the shades?

Great work!

You definitely did that great sculpt justice with such an excellent paintjob!
Muchos Kudos to you sir!:thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

Thank you guys. Those tattoos are such a pain in the butt, I had to draw them in freehand with a paint marker, then go back and hand paint them all in. Pics added up above with no glasses, the eyes are Moveable, so in one pic, one eye looks a bit higher than the other.. they can be positioned any way you want, I just didn't fix it for that photo.
Oh, and I'm free now to take on commissions, that was my last project to finish so if anyone needs a bust painted up, let me know.

Great work on the tats and skin tone, Steve :thumbsup . You have improved in leaps in bounds in such a short amount of time.

The only, only thing I would change, is the hair. You may want to hit it with a dull/flat coat so it isn't so shiny/plastic-looking. Otherwise, great job!

Wow! Love the movable eyes!

Thanks for posting the shots without the shades. That really is a fine piece of work you did. :thumbsup

It's funny, I did hit it a few times with testors dullcoat, yet there is still a bit of a shiny sheen to it. Maybe I'll try the lusterless flat instead of the dullcoat and see what that does.

Steve, try Floquil's Polly Scale Flat. It's an airbrushable acylic flat. It's the deadest flat I have ever used and because it's an acrylic, there's no bizarre reaction with other paint.

That's a blast from the past seeing this bust!

Try rattling the can more... there's some kind of aluminum particles that drops to the bottom of the can that causes the dulling ;)
