hi Azspidey nice suit

I have to start my suit as it still in the box,
my suit is the red and blue movie suit.
made by spider4fun with ollies Urethane Webbing.

please tell me is your Webbing Urethane if so,
how do you stop it breaking easy and what type of glue did you use to glue it ?

I'm sorry I gotta ask though, What the heck did you use to make the eyepieces cuz you need to get ahold of the director of the Spiderman movies and slap him around a few times for CGIing the eyepieces for ALL THREE MOVIES when he could've done this and avoided the hassle. BTW that suit is SEXY!!! I wish I were that good! All I can do is make suits out of paper and resin!

Yes my webbing is urethane from my own molds. My webs are super strong, they can stretch up to about 5 times their size so I have not had one break, nor do I think they ever will. All the webbing was glued down using loctite super glue gel.

The lenses are just mesh from a frying pan splatter screen from walmart painted white on the outside and then black on the back side with a piece of clear plastic on top.

Hey, I wanted to let you know that Shade's got it right, epic job, how did you put the eyes on, did you sew them in and cover them some how. I've been wanting to make Spawns mask since I was like 10 years old. Also, how is the breathing throught the mask, is It worse then the stuff they use for those cheep walmart costumes. (Sadly, the only material I've been able to work with for almost a year.)

The lenses are done just like in the movie they clip on to a face shell. So they are never attached to the fabric. Also you can see there are a bunch of holes drilled in it for me to breathe. Its not bad, but it is also not the greatest situation.

That is a great suit. :thumbsup And thanks for sharing how you did the lens pieces and the brick pattern. I would love to tackle one of these someday, i'd just rather not have to mold up webbing.:lol

Yeah unfortunately I have come to realize that not a lot of the spiderman guys will give up their secrets of how they make certain things. So I will try to help people out the best I can.

And molding the webbing is a pain

I bet.:sick Do you offer them at all, do I even want to know.:confused:lol

Not really. Your best and cheapest bet would be spidey4fun. Not sure if he is a member here, but he is the guy to go to.

This is my suit I have been working on for a few years. It still has quit a bit of work to finish it, but Im trying to get it done by Phoenix Comic Con.

Nice suit dude!! I hope mine looks as cool as the one in the pictures you've posted.

I was also wondering if you make the suits in recreation for yourself, or do you sell them as well?

This is a one off suit. It was way to difficult to make copies and sell them. Ill leave that for much more devoted individuals.

Great job!!!

Do your lens fog up and how hot does it get in mask? I'm waiting fro my Spide4fun suit but got the mesh only without the plastic lens, not sure if I should add the plastic covers, any feedback would be appreciated.

The lenses do fog pretty bad, but I have slits under the lenses that let in a little bit of air to help clear them up. And the face shell does get a little warm, but nothing I cant deal with.
