Hi friends! This will be my first thread so just bear with me as I figure everything out!
I'm planning to log every bit of progress that I make here so prepare for an obnoxiously detailed thread haha
I've been dying to do this cosplay for a while. Most people agree that Bioshock 2 wasn't as good as the first Bioshock game, but the little sisters in the second one were definitely much cuter than before. This may have been just me, but as I was playing through the game I began to like them more and more (as I think you're meant to because you're playing as a Big Daddy) and by the end I was decided that I just had to do this cosplay. It took me a super long time to get around to doing this, but better late than never right?
I started with a sketch as I always do. Since I'm making pretty much everything in this cosplay from scratch, there was no real need for it, other than that it just finalizes for me that I'm going to get this cosplay done. I'm not even sure if I'll be doing the little sister wearing the dress with purple stripe fabric, or not. Its just a matter of what fabric I can find that has the right look and feel for this project.
I'm referencing this image among others for the structure of the dress (depending on which fabric I can find) , and after much deliberation I decided to make the entire pattern myself. I had thought about altering an Alice in wonderland dress pattern, but I knew if I want the most accurate piece this was the way to go. I started with the hardest part, which was the bodice pattern. This is definitely the most complicated pattern I've ever drafted but I'm excited to test it out, nonetheless.
My apologies for how difficult it is to see the lines with the reflective paper and all...
I also went ahead and ordered the gas pump nozzle that I'll be needing for the ADAM syringe build.
That's all I have so far but I think I'm off to a good start. Let me know what you think!
