And don't forget Bigger Trouble in Big China, when Jack Burton travels with Wang Chi to battle an ancient evil in mainland China.



As a side note, anyone think that some of the decision-making behind possibly greenlighting this has to do with the emerging audience market in China? Like, they'd change it from being a sort of homage to 1970s Saturday Kung Fu Theater films, and make it a big-budget Chinese-oriented story?

They can't. He'll be too busy being put into every other major science fiction, fantasy, or action franchise, especially those resurrected from the 1980s and 1990s.
