Not really a prop, but I hope it's relevant enough!
My wife and I had my first baby a month ago, and subsequently, I have been spending MANY hours awake at night trying to rock/sing/bride her to sleep. During one of these nights last week my sleep deprived mind took me on a winding and confusing train of thought, which ended up here. :sleep
Basically, we moved into a new house recently and I need to get a sign up to both warn people of our big bouncy dog, and to try and deter any unsavoury characters from targeting our home.
So I spent some time over the weekend, and put this together. It's made in exactly the same way as the Shard of the doctor's blue box I made a while ago see that thread for a bit more info
So the design comes from a not-so-subtle mash up of the Tardis door sign and the logo on the side of K-9
Basically, I cut the letters from styrene by hand, then fixed them all to a backplate and made a crude pine frame, then made a quick one piece mould. This is a resin cast from that mould. I painted it up in the same way as the Shardis. I'll need to lacquer this one though, so the paint will be able to endure the damp and windy British climate!

And one showing it in use, unfortunately, my own stubborn Canine wouldn't pose properly, and I don't yet have a proper "Robot Dog" for myself, I don't think I'll have time for that project until my retirement!
