This story sound a little familiar. Recently a guy in Washington DC ordered a TV from amazon and when his package arrived it was a expensive assault rifle. The shipper screwed up the shipping label and the TV got lost and the gun got delivered.
You don't think he coulda just photoshop the second receipt...
DHL's website shows the package was delivered in OZ? look at my link I posted. Do you live in Australia?
From looking at both photos of both receipts, while probably possible, I personally think it's highly unlikely. Too much going on with alignments, items that would need changing, and differences between print outs that if it is a photoshop job, it's pretty elaborate and undetectable to me.
I think there were 2 packages shipped at the same time, from the same location. One to Japan (which was then forwarded on to Oz and delivered), and one that was supposed to go to Eerie in the US. Changing a destination as a recipient while a package is in transit is possible with UPS, so it might be possible with DHL.
If it were me, I'd be on the phone with DHL customer support and ask them about the identical sendungsnummers and how that could happen, and if it's possible to pull the records from the system directly. You have the address of the shop, and the date/time stamp the packages were allegedly shipped out.
Hope it all works out.
That and the date and time stamp on the receipts is raising an eyebrow for something that I'm understanding to be from late 2011 and early 2012?
Notice the third line from the top on both receipts in the images provided above -- 2215 hours and 2216 hours on August 27, 2012?
I'm likely missing something though -- my understanding of German is limited to Google Translate. =P
yeah i 'm thinking he just photoshoped the photo of the receipt... but seems like a pretty elaborate plan...lol so maybe someday it will actually arrive but i'm not holding my breath.. I'll let you know in a few weeks...lol
Again people did you look at DHL's website.? I did and it shows 2 separate package's one successfully delivered to Japan and the other to Australia both using the same tracking number
Two identical DHL tracking numbers for two different packages? Impossible!!! I have never seen this.
And as a graphics professional let me tell you: This second receipt IS definitely manipulated with a graphics software. But I could do that much better! :lol

Roland - Any chance you could tell us exactly what you see in the receipts that tell you they're Photoshopped please?
Okay, let me show you what I mean. Look at my picture. If I copy the tracking number from the second receipt and put it over the number from the first receipt with 50% transparency, the viewing angles of both numbers are identical. If I do the same for example with the word "Sendungsnummer", it doesn't match.
Since that doesn't work with the other picture, it could be just a remarkable coincidence. But it's still mysterious.
