The HM-4 Laserpistol

From the german 1966 tv-show "Raumpatrouille Orion/Spacepatrol Orion"

You forgot Special Unit 2

Which one, there were four. The large pistol, the rifle, and two undercover/off duty guns. The first was a polymer frame two-shot derringer with a holo site. The second was a C.O.P. .357 magnum four-shot pistol.

Can't believe this wasn't mentioned, seaQuest DSV season 2/3 pulse pistol. 4 settings, you can slightly stun someone to blow up a wall if you wanted.

LOVE this thread!!!!

Wish I had something to contribute, but it looks like nearly everything has been covered. I wanted to suggest original 1968 POTA gorilla pistol & rifle, but they're based on real-world fireams, albeit nearly completely hidden.

Here's my weak entry, tee-hee :D

I love anything that looks like a telekinetic blast from the hand, hence my offering to the thread:
The Goauld Hand Device (or Ribbon Device)

Since the Original Star Wars Trilogy weapons were all based on vintage German & British pistols, SMGs, & MGs, I didn't think to exclude the films, but there were some very nice designs in the Prequel Trilogy that I felt should be recognized, such as Jango Fett's pistols and the Nabu ascension guns (although the latter may be based on a competition pistol, but I can't be sure).

How can I FORGET!?!?!? :lol I believe RPF member LaMerchand was working on a replica based on the accurate scale dinosaur skeleton model he discovered. I hope he finishes it!

Sadly, I must disqualify the Korben Dallas blaster since it is visibly based on a Vektor CP-1 blowback semi-automatic pistol:

I'll let that one squeak by, since the Berreta is completely concealed. And if we relax the restriction for hidden base weapons, I would like to add Spooner's gun from I, Robot:

which is based on a Taurus Model 85 snub-nosed revolver (who would have guessed! :confused ).

Good stuff! :thumbsup

I saw a similar gun but not exactly on Stargate SG1 Season 9 episode 4 "The Ties That Bind" Vala held it against Jaffa trader roughly 14 minutes into the episode.

Cool!

Personally, I love the robots from A.P.E.X. and their gun arm cannons that seem to keep growing longer as the movie goes on.

do you know how the gun fires?

Info: it uses a kind of rock, i dont know what ist's called but, u mix it with water & it makes a blue flame when it hits a glow plug in the gun. practicly its the same as the Logans Run DS (deep sleep) Gun

Yep, the thread I found all that out in is here: http://www.therpf.com/f9/foosh-gun-thread-14935/

I think someone on here bought a busted-up but repairable one on ebay a few years back, maybe they'll chime in and post some new pics...
