Congratulations on your first costume contest and for winning Best in Show there. It looks like you were well-liked there with all of the pictures and with being drafted into the costume contest. I'm sure none of them noticed that you had just finished your suits, or that the armor didn't fit so well -- they just thought you were awesome.
There is something to be said about trying your suit and armor on before your first major appearance. But now that you've had the experience, you can fix all of the problems and be more comfortable next time.

I'll say! We practically had to be cut out of our armor by the end of the night. I like the Sintra armor but the molded stuff looks like it would be way more comfortable. I want to re-engineer quite a bit of my suit. Right now I think I'm a 20 footer Predator. (from 20 feet, I look pretty awesome). Closer and you see all the flaws. No matter, it was a blast.

Yep... Good times. I met Pablo at the booth with the most Predator artwork. And he's totally doing it next year...Right?And then there were 3! Next year Austin Comic Con will have at least 3 if not 4 Preds. My son is 6'2" and lean and would make a great Falconer. The invasion is on!
The suits look great man! Congrats on winning the contest!
If my Pred suit is done in time, you can count me in for a 5th next year.
