BB guns used in films

Hi all.....
Have any BB guns been used as props in any films we know? There's a group of guns for sale that I saw and just curious about films that may have used them?

I remember distinctly a low budget flick called The Destroyer from the 80’s (Anthony Perkins and Lyle Alzado) that used a crossman pellet gun as a prop. I actually owned one, it was easy to spot.

this isn’t the exact model, but what made it easy to see in the film is the cylinder. the front section is removable and that’s where you put the pellets or bbs and is the only part that rotates.

TONS and TONS of air guns are used as props!

The first thing that comes to mind, since it's so recent, is the Mandalorian. BB/pellet guns are EVERYWHERE!

I remember reading an article that many of the blasters in Rogue One were airsoft based since they had working triggers and mechanisms that mimicked real world firearms without have to worry about real ammo.

Towards the end of National Lampoons Vacation, Chevy Chase used a pellet gun that looks like a .45 auto at first glance but I had the same model and it is very easy to recognize once you've seen one. I think at some point they even point out it is not a real gun but I haven't seen it for a while so I'm not to sure about that.

"The BB could lodge under the skin causing a serious infection!" ;)
I had that same model, it also fired darts and was used in True Lies.

the child version of the nostromo sidearm in the first Alien is built on a Webley pellet gun

Not sure what model Peter Strauss was carrying, but Ernie Hudson packed a Masudaya Thunderbolt. An early airsoft BB gun.

per IMFDB, some of the more recent Bond films have used airsoft versions of the pistols.
I read that a while back while buying airsoft PPKs for a Bond display.

The only time an airsoft has been used in the Bond films is a long shot of Craig’s P99 in the stairwell in the Casino Royale fight scene. And even then it was cast off an airsoft. It’s something that’s been discussed many times, but never actually gone ahead with as it is deemed that people will notice the difference.

In the forthcoming The King’s Man film, a Webley MKVI BB gun was used by Oxford (Fiennes) in the trench scenes. Made by Webley it’s a beautiful and well engineered replica with a superb battle worn factory finish straight out of the box.
