Wow. I'm speechless. Just incredible. I can't even imagine....

Just so it's out there... in case it's been missed:

At no time in any "canonical" information (argue over the definition of that, but I take it to mean the original show, the show scripts, the director's notes, and the novelizations) has it ever been stated that there were only 12 Battlestars. That is a popular concept that started in fan circles and somehow has continued to be perpetuated.

I suspect the idea of 12 battlestars came from an assumed connection between the 'quorum of twelve' and battlestars. The original movie depicts both Adama and the President as being battlestar commanders, as well as members of the 'quorum of 12'. So I think people just figured each of the quorum members was also a battlestar commander.

EDIT: In addition to this, I was just watching the series again, and Baltar comments on having a battlestar himself. So of the three members of the council of 12 that we get to know, each was also the commander of a battlestar.

Completed the starboard side body detail and the landing bay - minus some greeblies that will be added after the bays red stripe is applied.

Now she's starting to look like a proper battlestar

Nose cap. Lots of parts.
You know you wouldn't think by looking at it but if you just wanted to make this one signature piece of the model, the kits needed would cost around $700:sick

Its quite hunky looking when all put together & primed
