Battlestar Galactica Bluray Complete box set $132.99!

If anyone goes for it, they're welcome to it. Just remember that the "Complete" in the name is only in name, as it is not complete for the fact that it is missing one of the webisode series, The Face of the Enemy, which is important in my point of view because of the fact that it explains Gaeta's actions in the The Oath/Blood on the Scales two parter in Season 4.5.

I picked this up Monday. No idea if or when they will make the webisodes available. Couldn't pass up the price!

Gives me the perfect reason to finally watch the extended version of Daybreak I and II !!!

No idea if or when they will make the webisodes available.

I doubt they will. I've heard rumors behind why it wasn't included in the U.S. and Canadian releases of the show on DVD. Either one wouldn't be surprising to me if it were true. The first rumor was that Universal disagreed with the idea of including the webisodes because of the fact that Gaeta is a homosexual character (which seems rather contradicting, as "Razor" was released and we reveal that Cain is a lesbian). The other rumor was that it was due to new stipulations in relation to the Writer's Guild of America strike that occurred during the mid-season break in the production.

The only way, so far, to get all the episodes of The Face of the Enemy is to use illegal methods, download all 10 episodes and burn your own DVD (NOTE: I'm not saying you should, I'm saying that looks like the only way thus far). As of currently, you can still watch the webisodes on Hulu and SyFy, but they got rid of their HD viewing option.

^ That. It's caught up in legal departments.

Not necessarily. As there are two different explanations, neither one has been confirmed or denied, especially by Jane Espenson, who was the one who written the webisodes. And if it was because of the WGA stipulations, she surely would have pointed it out in an interview or even in the audio commentary for the webisodes.

It's out of her hands. A couple of unions took it up as an issue... as the writer she doesn't have any input or control in the matter. Several other shows have 'tween season webisodes that are in the same boat. I've been briefed on this by someone involved in the proceedings.
