My second nozzle for engine pod #2 turned out much better than the first, so I think I’m gonna have to redo the first one. It takes almost an entire pack of .40 rod for one nozzle, crazy

Added some more ribs on the belly and greedily panels and did the little tiny square and rectangular raised areas on the armor plating
The shipyard workers are grumbling again

Holy cow! Looks amazing. I was wondering if you were gonna add the tiny bits to the paneling. I am so in love with this model. Great job.

Next you will have to do the Pegasus, lol. At least it is more like the old series and no ribs and plating :p

Well thanks, I was planning on doing the Pegasus, at some point. Probably next winter. I should be getting my car back from paint soon so I’ll be hip deep putting that back together for a while

Well this is gonna be a tedious chore, ribbing the flight pods might be entertaining for a few days but after that, argh. I’m sure y’all can see my intentions with the FO. There should be sufficient room to run 9 strands of .50. That part will be exciting though.

My friends your suspensions are confirmed. Im using.50 fiber optic to spotlight the letters on Galactica’s moniker on the flight pods. With a little luck I’ll be able to angle them properly and get the desired effect. Also, in case you were wondering…the answer is yes, I’m quite mad (as in nuts) LOL
