Battlestar Ambrosia Bottles Meaghers

Here is a sample label I have been working on for the Ambrosia Bottles. Does anyone know a connection in the States for Meaghers Triple Sec? It is only sold in Canada as far as I can tell. I was thinking about going to see a Blue Jays game just to bring 10-20 bottles of this stuff back with me, but if anyone knows someone that can send some down to IL please let me know. I got a guy to send my some empties at full price but I wouldn't mind drinking some of this stuff while I'm at it. I'm not picky.

I would be interested to see if you could get these as well. This is a prop I would love to have. I have already spoken to you about your labels but without the bottle. . .

Any help?

I too would love to get two of the bottles. So you could get a list going and buy the bottles, drain the liquor and ship the bottles out. Keep it in mind.

The guy that sent me the first two bottles might be willing to send me more. He charged me 22 "Canadian" a bottle plus shipping for the empties. It ended up being around $75-80 U.S. for just two bottles. I will contacted him for a quote for an additional "say"... 6-8 bottles to see what shipping is going to be. I will have to trade him something for the service so I will see what he is looking for and if I don't have it will post up here for help. Last time he wanted a metal "L" cubit. I only have two of those so he seemed ok with a resin one, a "full colors" hand, and a label set.

If anyone knows what an original tos "L" cubit looks like I have two metal ones but was reluctant to send him one till I new if one was authentic and one was bogas. One of them has fine detail in the background of the symbol "like the G style cubits" and one of my L's has wavy bumps, but looks more like the pictures I have seen around of original L cubits. Can anyone point me to a detail picture online? If so, I could easily get my connection to send as many bottles as we need.

Last note, Propworx had a few Breakaway bottles for sale, does anyone know how to make those? A mold can be made from a common Wisers 18 year old whiskey bottle or one of my Meaghers bottles. the Wiser's is the same thing but clear.

I received my Meagher's bottle and applied the labels. Here are the pics.

This is the Meagher's bottle with original labels. I had trouble finding pics online when I looked. Some one from Canada was nice enough to send it to me. I didn't even really know them. Met through a transaction on Ebay and I asked because he was from Canada.

Here it is with the labels.

Here is the original bottle on my shelf with Mr. Morden's etched Brilliant Vodka bottle in the background. Both the etched bottle and the Ambrosia labels are excellent and well worth his labor. Thank you Mr. Morden.

Really cool! Good job on the label.

Ignore this if the error is accurate to the original prop, but there should be an apostrophe after the 's' in "Colonies". :)

My wife said the same thing. Not in original props, they spell it Colonies. There are several variations on this prop though, and I'm working on an all foil printed gold label version, but my Gerber keeps messing it up. It could I guess be operator error but I don't like admitting to such faults.

Does anybody know what the green stuff is that they put in the bottles? I wanted to put some Ambrosia looking liquid in my Ambrosia bottle but am not sure what it is? My etched Brilliant vodka bottle I just put in some rum.
