Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

It's Lex Luthor Jr., not the one original that you guys are referring to. Granted there was a Jr. in the comics that didn't quite act like JE either, but who really remembers that guy?

I keep hearing this excuse....It's Lex Jr......Soooooooooo it's not supposed to count? Like it's an out in case people don't like it. Just like Jared Leto "could" be Jason Todd and not the real Joker. A cop out in case people don't like it. Then the studio can just say, "Well, that wasn't the REAL Lex. That was his idiot son. We will give you the REAL Lex later."

I apologize in advance if this makes people talk politics...if a politics discussion starts, expect me to flee in terror.

But I'd pay cash up front to watch Donald Trump play Lex Luthor.

I just saw the trailer.

I groaned at the 'clark meets wayne' line.

this 15 year old high school hyper student is NOT Lex Luthor. Joker or the riddler, maybe, but no way in hell lex.

Batman has turned into fatman in a burlap sack suit. Superman I hated from man of steel because it didn't feel like good ole boyscout superman that we should get. (save the dark stuff for batman!) And the whole point of this movie seems to be to have the two leads fight so lots of splosions and angst can happen.

sigh. how terribly.....boring.

Give me a live action version of Superman: TAS Worlds Finest. Now THAT was fun done right. not this michael bay looking mess.

I think Lex is putting on a show, using an alter ego as a quirky nerd, but then shows his real face to Lois. I also think him being Lex Jr doesn't affect his character. Is there any info on Lex Sr? If not, it'd be cool to have Lex Sr be sick and Jr wanted Superman to save him but failed or something and Jr has always had a grudge against him since. BUT then we find out the Jr is completely bonkers and caused his dad to get sick and just needed an excuse for people to be against Supes, and also become the head of the company and use it to find ways to bring down Supes. Hopefully something dimensional and not just some a rich heir who sounds like Blue from Rio who hates aliens.

Huh... Could be interesting, and I think I'm one of the few who still has hope for this movie.

That said, if this is true, they are squeezing a LOT of stuff into one movie.
Conceivably it might be a viable film even with all that content but, gosh, it would have been so much better to have spread all this material out over at least three films.

Seems like this movie could (and imo should, if this is indeed the movie) be split into two.
I was one of the few who weren't exhausted by all the fighting and destruction in MOS, but this is bordering on insane. So the count is up to four battles in this movie: not one but two battles between Batman and Superman, one battle between the trinity and Doomsday, and yet another between kryptodrones and the entirety of the JL.

You know, that's the first time Affleck seemed uninteresting. "Do you bleed" is such a terrible line. Not as bad as half of Lex's dialogue (e.g. "Red capes are coming.") but pretty eye-rolling. And Ben just doesn't look good in the suit in that last shot. As a teaser this is really killing my "hard-on" for the movie.

That bat suit looks amazing in photographs. But any time I see actual video of it, it looks like cheap felt

The more they release the less likely I am to see this movie...

I had assumed the "Do you bleed?" was so mechanical sounding because it was in his armored suit. I sure hope that's not how he sounds all the time.... Seriously, he sounds like he's speaking through a vocoder.

He sounded like that in the previous teaser trailer as well, so I think that's how he's going to sound throughout the movie whenever he's in the Batsuit. I actually prefer it to the "growly Batvoice" that was used in the previous movies because it does sound like it's being electronically distorted in order to protect his identity.

Feels really unnecessary. We've already accepted the idea of a world where a pair of glasses makes you un-recognizable. No need for silly-voice. if anything it creates an inconsistency that makes harder to suspend disbelief, not easier.
