Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I'm sure this has been discussed many times, but I missed a few (dozen) pages of this thread, so... Sorry for lateness of this.

The little ears on Batman kind of make him look like a really badass hello kitty.

These posters are awful.
I think I'm just going to go into BvS blackout and not look at or watch anything else related to this movie until I see it.

It seems like just the sort of thing that comes from corporate brainstorming.

I think this hits the nail on the head. From the beginning all the talk was BvS and the conflict itself. The two heroes on the big screen together for the first time ever. How epic that was. Even with the knowledge later learned of potential appearances by WW, Aquaman, and Flash, they were speculated to be cameos or introductions because (again) the focus was BvS and the two power houses.

Even as the film was being filmed, you can almost tell that when the executives up stairs got their first look, you KNOW their first thought was, "Well, Marvel shows them all together. We need to show out TEAM." No logic, not strategy, not real thought. Just some people in the head shed saying do this. I want to see it.

Since this thread is 130 pages long I dont have time to sift through it all, so my question is what is the material that super mans' suit is made of. i realise that the fabricators of the actual suit may be a one off or have a secret formula but what are people using as a replacement for it?

More or less, it's some kind of thin, somewhat see-through stretchy blue fabric, screen printed with a chainmail pattern and kryptonian writings, worn over a shaded silver padded muscle suit to highlight the muscle structure. Talk to Masked Rider here, he makes the best replica anybody has ever made of that suit.

I don't know why people are so surprised that there's corporate decisions made on films like this? Or offended even. It's a total given that that has to happen. The expenditure on this film will be massive, and the return has to be worth it for us to continue to see our characters in film.

I think the whole team up against the previous versus is a calculated move to seperate away from Civil War. Just makes sense. Here's how our movie is different guys etc.

I still think it will be hellishly entertaining, though won't be perfect. I can handle that.

Marvel have the same corporate issues, but they are way, way more established. Jon Favreau was handed a relatively small budget with Iron Man, and managed to pull things in the right direction - but I think people forget that Marvel still puts out mediocre movies with favourite characters in too. Thor didnt quite work on its own in my opinion, or Thor 2. IM2 was good, 3 was OK etc.

I enjoy all the films and will always watch and find things to enjoy with these movies. I'm trying hard to be less negative though, haha. I'm just happy that theres so many decent projects that the actual hit rate of good movies gets higher by default!

This will be enjoyable, and a good movie in its own right, just like Man of Steel had its moments - but there will be things that don't quite work too. Overall, it probably won't quite hit the heights of some Marvel properties.

But its still the trio guys! On the ******* silver screen. I'm gonna get chills.

Another vote here for Doomsday evolving. I really think it makes sense. Show us the reveal but still have something in the pocket.

She is pretty, just not what I think many would buy as the best person to represent Wonder Woman in real life. I know she worked out and gained some weight, but she's still just a little too shy of that ideal mass and stature you would expect from an Amazonian princess.

maybe there was a mix-up with the comic book hand outs. And for some reason jesse got some joker stuff wich ofc he took it upon himself to bring this character to life under the assumption that it was Lex. :p
