Anyone see the trailer for American Ultra? Looks like they put Eisenberg in the same stupid wig. :lol
I'm gonna watch it just to see the kid act, and getting used to that ridiculous hair may help too.

Yah, not a fan of obnoxiously textured rubber suits.
Remember the Flash show in the '90s? Red suede suit? That was a cool super-suit.
I'm still waiting to see Batman in a grey suede suit with shiny black leather cowl, gloves, boots and cape (seriously - he's a BAT. Leather cape would be wicked cool).
With a BAR belt for a utility belt, like in Year One.
I'm not holding my breath, but it would be cool.

This....looks like it's going to be quite the trainwreck. Likewise with the Suicide Squad film and the rest of DC's slate of films in this latest iteration.
As with the Fantastic Four movie, these may end up being entertaining films in and of themselves, but they don't seem to me like they're all that concerned with being at all representative of what's in the comics in terms of the soul of things, let alone the look of them.

I still believe Ben absolutely has the best live action Batman look we have ever gotten. Side note... Looks like he gets shot a few times in the film. Notice the bullet "holes" on his chest in one pic, but not any of the others?

I'm pretty excited to see what this take on Batman will be about. It might not work, but so far I like what I have seen. I like the references to The Dark Knight Returns comic, and The Killing Joke comic. I never expected to see any of that material adapted in any way shape or form beyond maybe some animated films. Which I just read Mark Hamill will be voicing The Joker in The Killing Joke animated film!

I'd love to see her as Barbara. I was never too big on the Carrie Kelly Robin casting rumor.
That being said, they sure are shoe horning a lot of characters into this film. I hope they don't sacrifice the quality of the film just to shove as many people in just to have them in. It's becoming one of my biggest concerns as we get closer and closer to the film's release.

Well here's a thought that occured to me,and if they do this I'd say I'd give DC props for being original:
What if they're ALL in the film? (The Justice League) if you think of it this way,and if the movie is long enough like say two and a half hours,this could work.
Carrie is show in a crowd being directed away from the fighting Superman and Batman,Gordon and his daughter Barbra are the ones directing them away.
Auqaman is shown watching the destruction on a screen and becoming furious.
Martian Manhunter is likewise watching and becoming highly concerned.
And so on and so forth,you could cram all of them in the movie with short bit parts with maybe a line or two.
I think that could work well.

That's probably what's gonna happen, small cameos here and there to set up JL. Except for Gordon, rumor is he's dead in this. Not confirmed, but there were no casting announcement for him, and that line in the trailer "20 years in Gotham, how many good guys are left ? How many stayed that way ?" Seems to indicate Batman allies are pretty scarce !

squad : the only reason i have any interest in SS is for will , he has to redeem himself from that movie with career killer shamalan, margot hot as sin but in no way deserves to be the princess of mayhem ( we have jen law for that , and SILVER LININGS proved that she is not just another pretty face, she can balance crazy too )

the only role that jumps out at me was him in LORD OF WAR where he became human pancettta, other than that i have no recollection of any of his roles.
my other concern is jason and a female who is equal to KRISTEN STEWART on the dullness factor ..i barely remember anything in furious she was in ( aside from she was hans girl) jason is going to dominate the fans .
we had soooo many females we coulda had as diana ( for examples)

Mr Nobody, Requiem for a Dream, Dallas Buyers Club, Chapter 27 etc. Jared Leto can act. Anyone that thinks he can't hasn't been paying particular attention to film in the last ten years.
Gal Gadot hasn't got that pedigree behind her, but I certainly arent going to base the idea she might not smash it on her being thinner than what fans would like to see on screen. A powerful woman doesn't have to be a large one. In one interview, Gina Carano herself says she is confident Gal can do a good job.
Luthor in this version is a tech mogul. In a modern world. The modern world doesn't see the older, suited man with a stocky build as the powerful archetype anymore. Technology is power nowadays, and the Silicon Valley style/Facebook era CEO holds a lot of sway in social impression nowadays. Eisenberg will smash the character he has been given - this isnt a direct screen adaptation of comics Luthor who is 40/50.

what pedigree ?? kiera has the same figure as her and is not boring on screen , ill even use portman as an example.large NO , but she has to be NOT BORING (hence the kstew reference)
what i meant about luthor was he was a playful ***** who only backed up what he said when he was pushed into a corner... the tech mogul thing is like a youtbe star which i hear is a concept they use in fantastic 4 .
if the only thing i can remember about you is your death that happened barely off screeen , you are a terrible actor (citing LoW again), i hated saourise ronan in that movie with kiera and james cus the character caused the main problem in the film (atonement) but she pulled herself out with hanna , violet and daisy, how i live now , byzantium and lost river... i have seen mr nobody and was not impressed i barely remember that film ( my ex had it in her collection an was one of her fave movies that i tried to watch )

Not gonna lie had a hard time following a lot of what you were saying in your post, but one thing I followed is that you are looking forward to Will Smith in SS.
I just don't see what in any of the trailers or teaser for this movie would make Will Smith the one thing that interests you about this film. I look at the trailers and I'm like, why is Will Smith in this movie? playing apparently Will Smith. You have all this comic book characters (including Margot giving it all as Harley) and then here is Will Smith in his "I'm will smith voice" saying the freaking title of the movie, and "lets save the world" like he is back in Independence Day. Everyone keeps complaining about the Joker, and maybe its cause I don't know the character of Deadshot, but Will Smith is BY FAR the least convincing in either of this upcoming DC movies.
