Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I don't think Gal's skinny (even after "bulking") frame is going to be an issue when Zach can easily adjust her frame and build with CG in post. Whether or not it looks credible is another matter.
After all, he's color correcting, and tweaking every single shot anyway.
 
Is it so hard to believe that Jonathan Kent just wanted to protect his son from what would happen if the world found out ? Look what's happening now in BvS, he's hated by half the world even if he's loved by the other, and in trial for saving Metropolis and the whole Earth. That's actually pretty mild compared to what could have happened ! The gouvernement could have turned 100% against him and try to take him down, which would have ended badly for them probably, but equally as bad for Clark who would have become an enemy of the state. I believe that's what Jonathan feared, and why he made seemingly stupid decisions. He's not perfect and that makes him human. Same goes for Ma Kent and her lines in the BvS trailer, you can see she's talking to her son she loves and raised all these years, not to this super being everybody else sees. She wants what's best for him. Like every caring parents I would say...
 
Regarding Gal, I have no problem with her as a person or an actress. I think she's pretty darn good at both. And given the shape she's gotten herself in for this film, I think she'd make a terrific addition to the DCCU... She was just miscast. :p I actually think she'd make the best Catwoman yet. But not Wonder Woman. *shrug*

The way that Costner's death portrayal was done was horrible. Superman the Movie nailed it with the heart attach. He had all of these powers yet he couldn't save him vs I can save you but I won't because you say so.

Well, Superman certainly didn't mind destroying millions of dollars worth of military equipment without warning and telling said military that they should be the ones to tell the world that he's the good guy. Superman comes off less like a hero who wants to show the world he's on their side and more like a stereotypical cranky old man who thinks doing something himself is too inconvenient.

All those powers ... and he never thought to learn CPR.
That would make a fantastic ad for CPR training.

CPR wasn't widely known during the timeframe of Jonathan's death in Superman: The Movie.

We know the main part of the movie takes place in 1978, when Clark was 30.

Clark arrived on Earth thousands of years after Krypton did an Alderaan impression around age 3 (due to time dilation).

At age 18, his father died, and then he went to the Arctic and built the Fortress of Solitude.

He spent 12 years there learning, returning to the world at age 30.

This would mean that he arrived on Earth in 1951. (1978-30 = 1948+3 for his arrival = 1951)

This would also mean that Jonathan died in 1966 (1951 + 15 years to reach 18 = 1966)

While CPR was already in use by the military and medical professionals, it wasn't promoted as a technique for the public to learn until the 1970s.
 
If they go there, then fair play, but when you're dicing with a comics core of fans it's extremely brave to have a go at that. So applaud for bravery if they do but also the risk would be mental.

I'd personally enjoy the films either way, they are their own thing, its a new story. But I don't think they will.

Theres a 3rd bullet hole on the suit chest anyway, and no corresponding "wound". So I dont think thats evidence. Just misinterpretation.

Told you all Leto was too young to have killed Robin 20 years ago.... ;)

It looks to me like there is some curled metal in that wound, almost indicating that there is armor there to stop that bullet. The holes in the arm look like they go through.

Which would make sense, seeing as the chest is typically covered with bullet proof armor while the arms are exposed.
 
Saw the trailer before Ant Man this weekend....and it gets a big, fat "meh" from me.

I am decidedly underwhelmed by DC's post-Nolanverse film lineup. By contrast, I'm loving the stuff I'm seeing about Legends of Tomorrow.
 
Hmm well that's pretty crazy if that theory is true. How about the theory that Scott Eastwood is Robin? Everyone is Robin?
