Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Just saw Keaton in "Clear History". Reminded me how great he is. It'd be pretty cool to see him as Batman again, but not in this film. I'm sure there's an lesser known actor out there that can do the part justice. I always liked the stories in the comics where Bats and Supes are uneasy allies. I just hope this movie doesn't suck.

As much as I'd like that, I don't think throwing more money at Bale is going to change his mind. Only Nolan and a good script could, and Nolan is done with batman, so Bale probably is too, despite the fact they used Nolan's version of the Wayne Enterprise logo on the satellite Zod trashed. Since it was just an easter egg, it doesn't mean much anyway... How long do you guys think we still have to wait before they start casting and we have a few solid names to discuss ? I've heard the name of this guy coming often : Wes Bentley

He's got Nolan's interest for Interstellar, so that must have some weight, but he looks a bit too much like Cavill, which could be a bit confusing ...

If someone throws 50 million clams at Bale, you can be sure he'll be dressing up in that cape and cowl again. Especially since he's (Rumored) beginning to compare his Bats to RDJ's Iron Man. Nolan is involved, just not directing. It's still a Nolan film. RDJ claimed he was DONE with Iron Man. Then IM3 makes over a billion, Disney throws him 75 million for A2 and 3. Bale's Batman is a cash cow. TDKR was not as good as TDK and still made more money. Warner knows that Bales involvement with MOS 2 is a sure bet for a billion dollar film.

Oh, and for those (Including myself) who want to see an Arkham version of Batman, it's too soon after Heath Ledgers version of the Joker to recast it. I wouldn't want to be that actor playing the Joker. Constantly compared to HL's performance.
 
Well if you are right, that would make me a happy camper actually !
I would like to see an Arkham version too, maybe for Bat's next solo movie, which shouldn't be before a few years, but you probably can't outmatch Heath's excellent performance as the joker, the next actor will have to do something different with his joker, maybe more of a crazy sadistic mass murderer than the smart psychopathic anarchist Nolan gave us.
 
Honestly, they'd be smart to continue with Bale through JL. It'll probably be after that we'll see an Arkham version.. If ever.
 
Now if only they could say to bale to ease down on the voice a bit cus that was one of the few things that annoyed me about bale's batman.
 
It still was a bit too much tho. And aslong as this isnt confirmed id rather see another approach to batman. Altho i can imagine the studios wanting bale to come back so that way they have a close garantee that this will def make them lots of money.

If Nolan is truly calling all the shots and Bale has any integrity at all (as I'm sure he does), then you're never going to see Bale as Batman again. Nolan said from the beginning of the Dark Knight trilogy that his films do not exist in a world with magic and science fiction and people with super powers. And of course Bale said he would only play Batman if there was a GREAT script continuing the original story. It's time to accept this fact and move on...I beg of you, PLEASE!

This! Nolan's trilogy is complete, thats it. Any other Batman is going to be completely separate and having Bale be Batman (not happening) would confuse the hell out of people. I mean people thought that JGL was really Robin...

Man I hope not. Did anyone see Ghost Rider? HORRIBLE! Not saying he's all bad but if that's any indication of his abilities, he doesn't have much to offer.
 
I know a lot of people don't want to see Bale back, but when it comes down to revenue for the studio they will do whatever is necessary to get it. Even if it means paying Bale a hefty payout.

Having Bale come back is like having Toby Maguire come back for Spider Man. Bringing a character to a rebooted series from a different series is just confusing.

I did see Ghost Rider, but I don't remember he was in it :lol Which means his performance must indeed not have been spectacular... But I do remember him in hunger games, and the fact that Nolan hired him makes me think he has some potential. You can say whatever you want about Nolan, his casting is usually great (Holmes excluded, then again she didn't bother me in Begins and she's prettier than Gyllenhaal...).
I think in the end, whatever actor they choose, if he can deliver I'll be happy.
I know Urban is a fan favourite too, and I'm sure he could kick all kind of asses as batman, but I have some trouble picturing him as Bruce Wayne, playboy billionaire yes, but also aristocrat, well educated and sophisticated. Something about him doesn't fit this profile.
