Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

It's like information overload on the suit. First it's the herringbone pattern, then the weird creases that look like leather, then the odd layered panels, a distracting sheen, and the painted on bat symbol. I don't care it's textured, but it has so much going on at once with it. I think it's the costume's designers need to 1 up the design all the time that creates these unnecessarily complicated suits. Sometimes simple can be better.

Well, I suppose they deserve props for attempting to be different and giving Batman a more disheveled, wrinkled gray suit and moving away from the more fitted, "armored" combat suit look he has sported in some form or another since 1989.

With that said, it's not a look I prefer. I'm not a fan at all. I especially hate those stubby ears, Frank Miller comic influence or not.

I may be wrong but I don't think that full body picture is legit. The transition of the cowl+cape to the bodysuit looks very unnatural as does the utility belt and it's angle as well. Not to mention the lighting of the cowl is completely different than the rest of the suit. Also the cape showing between the arms looks like bad shop. If it is legit it's very unflattering.

Not sure how legit that photo is, but the photo of the suit shared by Snyder last week appear to be similar. Though the cowl seems little off, perhaps due to the angle and color.

The picture of Ben in the suit looks like he's slouching forward. The cowl in the picture above almost looks like the point between the collar bone is tucked into the chest of the suit, Where as the Ben version looks like it's popped out and let loose. If he stood up straight, pulled his head back a bit and stuck out his chest slightly, He wouldn't look like a no-neck.

WOw.... lighting makes a world of difference.

The fabric (if that's what it is) kind of looks like he got tossed into a bag full of angry cats.
I still like this suit better than the typical body armor or rubber looking suits.

I like the costume. I'd like it more if the wearer was actually built like the suit. I never understood the fake muscle armor

There's something not right about that photo to me. It may be official, but it looks very photoshopped or composited together. The proportions are very strange and a couple areas look very off.

I think it's real, but was meant to be a black and wight mugshot we got on the poster, we were not supposed to see the rest of the suit in this pic, thus the weird lightning and pose. But it looks very legit, I mean the front facing angle is new, so if it's a fake somebody put a lot of time recreating a front facing suit with the exact pattern and details.

I would say, as others have, that he's in an awkward pose to specifically take the photo for the Imax images... It's not meant to be seen as anything but his face...

I wouldn't be surprised to see a better pic "leaked" to show counter that pose

He looks like he doesn't want to be wearing that costume. I have a picture of me as a child making a similar face when my mom made me put on a horrible christmas sweater that my grandmother made.

First look of the Batwing.
