so the suit was finished just about 30min before we live the house...so some mistakes have been made, the suit is all black(didn't had time to order clear urethan), but in the street, the subway and then in the disney village...it was amazing...
my friends were suited too: one tdk joker, an other in the nurse version,a two-face,a scarecrow, and rachel...
we can't walk 1 step without shooting with chidrens and adults...and making autographs
really unbelievable...
we watch the movie in the imax version in suit...with the congratulations from the manager...
so here are the only pictures we took, and not really good quality...sorry

hope the others will give me some pictures of them to show you...

to answer, the cowl is the BB one casted in latex and then i cut a big part of the neck, but leave enough to glue the part inside to not see any cutted parts...

for the cape, it's my BB one, i will certainly redo one specialy for the next dark knight suit i will do, with an other pattern...and the fabrics is a special dark velvet from germany...not heavy at all, i love it...

gloves are icon tarmac V2...modified, i have to add a new scratch part, cause i didn't have time to do it before the night... but love them...

hope this will answer to some questions...

Absolutely fantastic. The cape looks amazing :thumbsup
My Begins costume is still missing a cape because I cant find one I like, but that looks great. I love it!

Hughes,
Very nice work my friend.
I know you're always upgrading your suits, so I can't wait to see what comes next.

thanks a lot...and yes i'm thinking of letting this one go...to make a new one, even more accurate with less flaws...lol

think in the next few days i will...

Wow, it´s awesome! :confused:love You did a great job! :thumbsup

What material is the armor-parts? Is it latex? Can you specify where you got the dark velvet in germany?

That is really the best Batman costume I ever seen. :love:thumbsup

Awesome job bro. Keep up the good work. I love that cape. Nice and huge. Where did you get the pattern if you dont mind me asking.

I suppose that's the molding process, but I could be wrong...:)
Anybody know what kind of molding that is? Is it even a mold or does that just a coating of something to make it durable? I'm trying to get a Dark Knight costume together and this process seems right up my ally.
