Batman Reboot very likely

Who says they have to move away from the Nolan universe at all?

The vast majority of the audience for these last 3 movies probably does not even recognize the name Chris Nolan. If you give them another movie that looks & sounds & feels like another Nolan movie, then they will buy tickets like it's another Nolan movie. A new batch of actors will be required as well as a new director/writer/etc. But that does not mean they are obligated to change the rest of the look & feel of the Batman universe too.

It would be more creative to take a whole new direction with a reboot but that doesn't mean they will do that. Movie studios are not in the business of being creative. If they think the most near-term profit lies in cloning Nolan's style one more time, then that is what they will probably do.

Please a reboot, please!! I liked the trilogy a lot, but it simply does not work in any sort of shared universe whatsoever.

If there has to be another Batman film, I wouldn't mind Bruce/Batman being done in the spirit of the animated show "The Batman". He's got the same tragic past and everything, but he's certainly not overly emotional about it and is actually open to helping others out including caps who aren't Jim Gordon. I also like how when he's himself, he's his true self instead of trying too hard to be this pompous a--hole just so that no one will associate him with Batman. Also, Batgirl was his sidekick before Robin, so +1. However, stay the heck away from the Justice League from that incarnation.

And I know people like Michael Caine, but I did not like his Alfred most of the time, especially in the third movie. I mean, geez. Batman is trying to help people and all he wants to do is complain. He literally goes from "Gotham needs you" to "Fu** Gotham". I hope that's not repeated again.

I don't think the actor playing Batman was the problem in those movies. It was the nipples on the batsuit, and if any casting was a problem, it was Arnold as Freeze.

I think if you didn't have to do an origin story every time you changed actors and directors, then you could actually get deeper into the characters.

Normally I am with with you 100%...however Clooney sucks, and NOT, I repeat not in a good way, if you know what I mean;)

I can't remember if I mentioned this or not but as I was waiting in line at the IMAX for TDKR people behind me were disscusing random movies so I decided to take a listen. I hear "I think Val Kilmer was by far the greatest Batman of all time"...I was waiting for laughter but there was none..then "Oh Skyfall, meh Ya know who would be perfect in the role? Timothy Dalton, the best James Bond ever" At that point I thought to myself (insert PPK in mouth, bang)

I don't get the Caine hate at all, especially in the third installment. What I got from his rants were :Bruce, it's been eight damn years, your not who you were, especially after sitting on your ass all that time. You can wear a knee brace and use some new toys from Fox, but look at that guy...he scared Ra's and was banned from him....he will crush you. And oh, Bruce, I promised your parents that if anything ever happened to them, I would protect and keep you safe. Your going to make me break my promise because your gonna be dead.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I got. Seems pretty rational for Alfred to say what he did.

Dalton seemed like quite a decent Bond to me. Not the best but one of the better ones. Unlike so many of the other Bonds he actually seemed like a decent balance of the various traits that Bond is supposed to have. So many of the others have been strong in one area and weak in another.

The problem was the movies Dalton got, which were weak. He also seemed a bit too ruthless & serious because of the scripts more than his acting.

i would like to see the take they do on batman because chris nolan did such an amazing job on the characters and who ever takes batman now i wish them the best of luck

I would like to see a batman film where batman's in his prime, his a urban legand people know about him but not sure if his real.

Or Would like to see a series of films based on the legacy of the Robins
Start with Dick Grayson his training becoming his own hero( spin him off in to a teen titans film) have him become Nightwing have batman deal with his lossing a partner then bring Jason Todd in have him killed by the joker have Batman deal with losing a partner to death with this way if the film if they are crossing over the movies bring superman in as in the comics .
With this much going on there would need to be several movies but it does open the world up and could have several spin off movies

What im interested to see is if the man of steel exists in nolans world. Syncopy is producing it, but you never know. I know the reboot is coming (good luck after nolan). Since we know they will inevitably reboot supes too, will they give any ties to that universe? I know its not really necessary since supes needs to be about supes, but it would be cool to see 1. If his main story takes place around the same time. 2. It would be a cool opportunity to maybe see jgl don the suit (Reaching for the starts yes, cool non the less.)

Bruce isn't some child who needs looking after. He's a responsible adult doing what he believes is right. And what he's doing is helping people. Cause really, Alfred telling Bruce not to fight this guy is almost the same as telling Bruce to let him run rampant across the city. Really?

A reboot is like death and taxes it will happen at some point it's hollywood, they did it with Kilmner,Klooney, Bale and it maybe down the road in a few years but it will happen. The story may be told a different way they may even throw Robiin in the mix and give us a new car.

How about an already established Batman with the whole bat family! Nightwing, Robin, Red Robin, etc. ya I know pipe dream

I wouldn't mind a Justice League movie because they did The Avengers so why not make that movie get the new guy that is playing superman Henry Canvill and Christopher Bale to play their roles and either get Ryan Reynolds or somebody of African American to play Hal Gordan/ Green Lanturn and find the perfect roles for Hawkgirl, Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman and the Flash.

Do a justice league film with superman and green lantern same actors bring in new batman ,then do a batman movie the next year
Reasom to use same actors is people have seen them in the role already. Less back story needed
