Batman: "Penguin" costume

Hey friends,

I have a chance to go to a costume party in December and thought about making a custom "Penguin" for the gig.

I don't want to try and replica the Danny Devito costume. I would prefer to do something from the comic book world.

Has anyone here seen a good version of the Penguin from the comic books? I did some surfing online but came up with zero. I thought this could be a kick butt costume........

Suggestions from my fellow members?

Why not a black tuxedo with tophat/cane, cyrano nose, and a snooty attitude? People would get it nad it would be from the comic world. You could also do the blue coat w/tails/purple pants and yellow vest version.

Here's me as the Burgess Meredith Penguin at Comic Con a few years ago. My pal Wally Wingert (Batman) pulled together a bunch of Bat-Characters for the weekend

The hat & tie were white toy-store buys painted purple. The vest was "fun fur" which I also used to cover the back of the cloves and the spats.

The nose is a Cyrano prosthetic. The suit is just an old tux with pinstripe pants and tailcoat (I actually use the same suit when I do Groucho Marx).
