Batman cowl help

I want to make a version of batman based on my fan comic idea but i have no idea how to get started on the cowl. The rest i can sculpt easily once i get there but i want to do one part at a time starting with it to set the mood for the piece. I see all these amazing cowls on here but i have never seen any how to threads for them. Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

First you need a head armature. That can be a personal life cast, one from say Monster Makers, or build up the basic dimensions over a wig head.
There are several good videos on YouTube for sculpting, molding and casting latex masks. I could describe the ins and outs of the modling and casting, but it might be easier to check out the videos first.
