Batman Begins Advanced Infantry Armor (WIP)

I started building this project on a whim, it is made from 1/8" and 1/16" cardstock/ chipboard.

i loved the design of the Advanced Infantry Armor prior to being painted black.

What are you going to cover the cardboard in?

It is going to get a coat of west system G5 epoxy, and 3/4 oz fibreglass cloth.
followed by scribing detail and then prime (1), paint (2)
and clear coat (2) with a matte finish

the interior will be covered with black 1/8" foam mat.

Im using paper for my templates, and transferring to the cardstock..

here's where I'm at today.

I'll add the spine and kidney guards next, and probably do the neck again, I'm not happy with it.

I have some of the templates in an envelope. I'll lay them out together and then take individual shots. I dont have templates for all components though, so you will have to be creative.

Looks very legit so far. I always found the "Dark Knight" suit too "sci-fi" imho.
