Batman Arkham City Costume pic

Sweet! I can't believe you did this. I've been working on the exact same idea. I thought this suit was a great start for an Arkham style costume, especially for the $$. I'm still debating on which cowl. If you get a chance, could you be a little more specific on how you attached the shoulders? That could save me a lot of potential heartache...

looks great, why can't I have cool costume contests around here, I need an excuse to wear something!

How where the boots made or where are they from?

Shins and gauntlets were made out of foam garage flooring from Walmart then plastidipped, weathered. I just used superglue to glue shoulders/biceps. Because there is a thin layer of latex over the foam of the costume, with movement, the biceps will pull at thin latex layer on shoulders so you have to be careful. Thanks.

I was also wondering how you made the shin gaurds?
Making a Red Hood costume and thought the design of these gaurds would work for the costume.

Dave, I did glue the shoulders to the chest. I used a latex fabric reinforcement underneath because the shoulders love to pull away from the chest if you just glue shoulders to the chest with no underneath flexible reinforcement. I never thought that the suit was that bad and I picked it up for $150 some years back so it was well worth it. i would never spend $500 for one now though.
Hi don't mean to retro-bump but I do plan to buy a Rubies suit and essentially do what you just did here, Can you describe how you did this step by step? Also where did you get the latex fabric reinforcement?
