I recently updated/completed my Batman Arkham Armored costume. I made the gauntlets, thigh armor, shin armor and torso armor and shoulders. Belt and biceps also. The mask is an origins Mask and combined everything together. Shoulders are a bit wide as I had made these for an Iron Man costume but removed for another install.
Gaunts made out of foam and plastic scraps
Belt is made out of foam and some toy gun parts from 5 below
Stomach from cut and curved plastic mounted on foam
Groin from a toy wheelbarrow from Party city sanded and covered in some foam strips
Thighs are cut trashcan combo with plastic toy bat cut in half mounted on a yoga pad from 5 below.
Chest was an old TDK I had
Biceps made from tops of plastic baseball helmets from 5 below
I need to highlight the edges of the shins and gaunts with some silver leafing pens to have the details pop more. Love flat black paint though.
